It is 2019 iirc Not really any difference in cap hit for 2018 and 2019. 2018 it's $8.95M and 2019 it's $9.05M The dead cap hit is less in 2019 though. ($5.25M for 2018 and $2.6M for 2019)

Boatdrinks Posted December 18, 2017 Posted December 18, 2017 Still looks effective to me. He didn't have a huge day yesterday, but I feel the OLine's performance and the scheme /OC have been limiting factors for McCoy this year. 2019 may be time to move on, but he should be a Bill next season.

Oleary and Clay and sometimes even TT have flashes of brilliance, but Shady is the go-to guy on every play. What amazes me is that every team knows that he'll be in on about 90% of the plays and they still can't stop him..........THAT, right there, is worth a kings ransom.

Gugny Posted December 18, 2017 Posted December 18, 2017 I think, if they planned on him not being here, he'd have been gone already. Shady has become a fan favorite and he's the most talented player on the entire offense. Shady should stay.

Gore is definitely the exception, not the rule. Also, I don’t think the speed guys age as well as the power guys. Don’t recall seeing many 32-year old speedsters. Not saying it’s impossible, but I would bet against shady playing past 2019.

I agree with this 100% But obviously 2018 he is still our identity, bellcow, and mvp. 1

In two years he may not be the featured RB, but I am still impressed with his receiving skills...better hands than Zay right now!!!
John from Riverside Posted December 18, 2017 Posted December 18, 2017 I gotta tell you guys I really like Cadet......and I think that TD Gilly may actually be available in the offseason given the patriots benching.....Cadet looks like a find as a speed back....lets bring them both back and improve this offensive line with free agency money.

I desperately want to see him retire as a Buffalo Bill, but I think he'll go back to the Eagles for that. Regardless, he's still playing at such a high level that I'm gonna be so pissed if McBeane ship him off just for the sake of saving Cap space. 1
