I’ve read this thread with people trying to pin Zay’s struggles on TT. After asking, why everyone else has been significantly better no one has responded. I believe in Zay still, but with that being said, he’s been arguably the worst WR in the NFL this season. That’s not hyperbole either.

That becomes a conundrum.  The true worst WR didn't see the field, quickly got benched, and/or is out of the league.  Zay may be the worst receiver in the NFL who was just good enough to get enough playing time and snaps in order amass a mind bogglingly low catch percentage.

Alternatively, the worst receiver to get 70 targets.  He's blowing Donald Jones out of the water in almost catching the ball, that's for sure.

He’s been the worst receiver in the league!! He has 70 targets and 25 catches!! He only averages 11 yards a catch!! That is pathetic. I’m not positive but I wouldn’t be surprised if he was the first receiver in history to have only 25 catches on 70 targets.

How many are catchable balls?

You keep ignoring that part.

He’s  had passes thrown his way that were 10 yards away and guess who gets tha tag of being targeted?

Certainly not TT.

Look at these guys compared to him: http://www.footballoutsiders.com/stats/wr. There are only like 5 guys under 50% and none under 46% and he’s sitting at 37%. It’s been awful.

You are missing the point!! There are 74 players with at least 50 targets. See the stats above.

Yes, it is a real shame Zay isn’t as good as the seasoned veterans.

If only .....

He isn't even nearly as good as many other rookie WRs

Something like this is between the ears. You’d think his college coach (after crazy success) would be helpful, but is it possible he needs a new voice? This is just odd.

Zay sucks.

And so does the so called QB throwing to him.

Take your L and go home. Don’t try to come to a thread about a guy playing terribly and blame someone else. The guy you are trying to defend is ranked last of all qualifying receivers and has a historically bad catch rate. Pick your battles!! If you want to complain about Tyrod go to one of the thousand threads here of people complaining about him. Don’t try to scapegoat him for Zay’s failures.

Now you are behind a huge ass because I say Tyrod sucks.

Bravo Kirby.

My rep points indicate otherwise.

...and I gave you the advanced stats that don’t even factor in drops!! They factor in what other players would do with the same opportunity. Zay Jones is having one of the worst years a receiver has ever had. Go back through the previous seasons on there. Look for guys that have been worse. You can make excuses for everyone to blame Tyrod because you are incapable of judging what is going on. Tyrod has had a bad year. Zay Jones is having one of the worst seasons a player has ever had!! Learn the difference

You get rep points because you post all of the time!! I’ve said that Tyrod has been bad. I’ve also said blaming him for Zay being historically bad isn’t going to keep those rep points going up.

So does Taylor.   I’m waiting for your agreement.

Taylor doesn’t suck. He’s an okay starting QB. We should certainly upgrade but you can’t have a winning record in the NFL and suck. You can score 4 times as often as you turn it over and suck. You can’t lead 2 top 10 DVOA and scoring offenses and suck. Sorry, you are wrong.

First person to brag about their rep points loses

I loved it!! I knew that someone would point to their rep points like some sort of measuring contest. The people that post the most have the most rep points. It isn’t an indication of your content.
