Obama, Hezbollah, Cocaine, Iran Deal

1) I am for legalization of most drugs, with still penalties to anyone that allows kids to consume, duis, etc.

2) This is horrific considering the positions the Federal Government has taken on drugs, the amount of people who have die as a result of this interference, and the lack of media attention this will get. Again, I don't think their will be any significant fallout from this, but there should be.

At least Iran doesn't have a nuclear bomb.

Too bad that longest congressional investigation in American history, the select BS committee on Benghazi should have looked into this....

Benghazi was a problem when the administration lied and sent an innocent guy to prison, trying to make him a scapegoat. I mean, the rest could have been written off as poor strategy (even though the administration ignored cries for help, or so it seemed).

I think the weaponization of the IRS, Intel community, and foreign agents by the Obama administration was far worse on a ethical/moral platitude.

Do you think they get one now?

Well, if you belie any of that stuff it really does not matter anyway

ANALYSIS: TRUE. Obama’s Iran Deal Makes Trump’s Russia ‘Collusion’ Look Like Child’s Play.

David Harsanyi:

Empowering terrorist groups. Paying ransom that emboldened our enemies to kidnap Americans. Creating an echo chamber that undermined a free press. Releasing spies, terrorists, and criminals who assisted not only our enemy and her terrorist proxies, but Russia as well. In the Iran deal, we have clear-cut case of the United States handing over extensive concessions to a nation that openly aimed to destabilize our interests, attack our allies, and kill our people — for nothing in return. It’s worse than anything we know about “Russian collusion.”

On Sunday night, Politico sent an email previewing an another investigative article alleging that the Obama administration had “derailed an ambitious law enforcement campaign targeting drug trafficking by the Iranian-backed, Bashar al-Assad-allied, Justice Department-designated terrorist organization Hezbollah, even as it was funneling cocaine into the United States.”

This email dramatically underplays the outlet’s reporting. While it looks like the Obama administration neutralized efforts to stop a terrorist group from funding its operations through criminal enterprises in the United States — which should be a major scandal itself — according to Josh Meyer’s source-heavy reporting, it also decided to let a top Hezbollah operative named Ali Fayad, who had not only been indicted in U.S. courts for planning to kill American government employees but whom agents believed reported to Russian President Vladimir Putin as a key supplier of weapons to Syria and Iraq, to skate free.

Exit question: “What wouldn’t the Obama administration do to save the Iran deal?”

Why is anyone surprised?

That terrible administration, which will go down as one of the worst in history, was full of scandal, corruption, bald-faced lying and graft. There were consequences. Look what that did to the D party: they went from total control to total irrelevancy. But there haven't been the consequences we expect: Lois Lerner going to jail, etc.

The 2 reasons Obama won re-election are: Mitt Romney was a terrible candidate, a sizable amount of the career government people abused their power to keep him in office, because they HAD to protect themselves.

Now, you have a sizable amount of career government people who have attempting to sabotage Trump for the same reason: they are guilty. It's either Trump, or them. They have tried to make it Trump, but they have failed. Now, they've only added to the list of charges against them.

Trump's people already have more guilty pleas than Obama had at all, which was zero. Obama ran a clean ship. Trump is corrupt to the core. You voted for the guy who ran the fraudulent Trump University. You are a fool

Child's play? You saying interfering in our election is no big deal? Just because the bigot won makes it ok in your eyes? If you think the Russians putting this corrupt, dysfunctional, mentally ill racist in the WH is ok then you seriously must be working for Russia or something

PETER INGEMI: Hezbollah Drugs, and how much Black Lives Actually Mattered to Barack Obama.

The Black Community stood behind Barack Obama and his administration tooth and nail. They ignored the bad economy, the failed policies, the rise of ISIS terror and furthermore in 2012 they turned out and saved him from defeat against a much more competent adversary.

Barack Obama didn’t just betray America by enabling international terrorists in order to allow himself to fund one of the World’s primary backers of said terror, but he did so knowing that the Hezbollah drug trade terrorized black neighborhoods, black families and particularly young black men, betraying those who had been his most loyal supporters.

Those black lives destroyed by the drug trade didn’t matter to Barack Obama or his administration as much as funding Iran did. That’s an uncomfortable truth that many who voted Obama will silently endure rather than admit how badly they have been played.

Obama Administration spokesmodel Ben Rhodes is still on Twitter, and still bragging about the deal he sold to the complicit mainstream media.

Obama Administration spokesmodel Ben Rhodes is still on Twitter, and still bragging about the deal he sold to the complicit mainstream media.

“All these newspapers used to have foreign bureaus,” he said. “Now they don’t. They call us to explain to them what’s happening in Moscow and Cairo. Most of the outlets are reporting on world events from Washington. The average reporter we talk to is 27 years old, and their only reporting experience consists of being around political campaigns. That’s a sea change. They literally know nothing.”

In this environment, Rhodes has become adept at ventriloquizing many people at once. Ned Price, Rhodes’s assistant, gave me a primer on how it’s done. The easiest way for the White House to shape the news, he explained, is from the briefing podiums, each of which has its own dedicated press corps. “But then there are sort of these force multipliers,” he said, adding, “We have our compadres, I will reach out to a couple people, and you know I wouldn’t want to name them — ”

“I can name them,” I said, ticking off a few names of prominent Washington reporters and columnists who often tweet in sync with White House messaging.

Price laughed. “I’ll say, ‘Hey, look, some people are spinning this narrative that this is a sign of American weakness,’ ” he continued, “but — ”

“In fact it’s a sign of strength!” I said, chuckling.

“And I’ll give them some color,” Price continued, “and the next thing I know, lots of these guys are in the dot-com publishing space, and have huge Twitter followings, and they’ll be putting this message out on their own.”

This is something different from old-fashioned spin, which tended to be an art best practiced in person. In a world where experienced reporters competed for scoops and where carrying water for the White House was a cause for shame, no matter which party was in power, it was much harder to sustain a “narrative” over any serious period of time. Now the most effectively weaponized 140-character idea or quote will almost always carry the day, and it is very difficult for even good reporters to necessarily know where the spin is coming from or why.” David Samuels NYT May 2016

THINK OF THEM AS DEMOCRATIC PARTY OPERATIVES WITH BYLINES AND YOU WON’T GO FAR WRONG:

A deafening media silence on the Obama-Hezbollah scandal.

Politico published a jaw-dropping, meticulously sourced investigative piece this week detailing how the Obama administration had secretly undermined US law-enforcement agency efforts to shut down an international drug-trafficking ring run by the terror group Hezbollah. The effort was part of a wider push by the administration to placate Iran and ensure the signing of the nuclear deal.

Now swap out “Trump” for “Obama” and “Russia” for “Iran” and imagine the eruption these revelations would generate. Because, by any conceivable journalistic standard, this scandal should’ve triggered widespread coverage and been plastered on front pages across the country. By any historic standard, the scandal should elicit outrage regarding the corrosion of governing norms from pundits and editorial boards.

Yet, as it turns out, there’s an exceptionally good chance most of your neighbors and colleagues haven’t heard anything about it.

Days after the news broke, in fact, neither NBC News, ABC News nor CBS News — whose shows can boast a collective 20 million viewers — had been able to find the time to relay the story to its sizeable audiences. Other than Fox News, cable news largely ignored the revelations, as well.

Most major newspapers, which have been sanctimoniously patting themselves on the back for the past year, couldn’t shoehorn into their pages a story about potential collusion between the former president and a terror-supporting state.

Let's recap the past three days of development:

First, the DOJ ordered a new investigation into both HRC and CF in relation to U1:

http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2017/12/22/doj-scrutiny-opens-door-to-new-uranium-one-investigation.amp.html?__twitter_impression=true

Then, despite the MSM blackout, the DOJ opened an investigation into 44's Hezbollah fiasco:

http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2017/12/22/sessions-orders-doj-review-after-report-obama-administration-gave-hezbollah-pass.amp.html?__twitter_impression=true

... So, in the last 48 hours, as Congress and DC close down, and after months of complaints about Sessions not doing anything of value, we now have investigations into:

U1

HRC

The Clinton Foundation

44 himself

What else do we know? On January 15th Michael Horowitz is going to submit 1.2 million pages of evidence found during the IG investigation of the politicization of the FBI and DOJ to the house and senate committees.

This voluminous drop is going to provide evidence for both of these new investigations - meaning, it's not going to take months or years for JS or a SP to do a new investigation - it's already done.

Do you honestly think Sessions was sitting on his thumbs for 11 months unaware of the IG's investigation or what he was uncovering?

Nope.

This is how it's done. They spent the past year collecting evidence while everyone was focused on Russia and Trump. Now, they have been dropping bits of the evidence they found for the past several weeks (read: DOJ thread) preparing people for what's to come.

The next year will be a roll out of evidence followed by criminal indictments.

Get ready. It's coming.

And... Away we go.
