Punt75
A rookie head coach. A brand new staff. A roster that went on the field today with 36 new players from last season! These new players weren't superstars at all. Joe Webb, Shareece Wright, Mike Tolbert, Ramon Humber, Ryan Davis, Vladimir Ducasse, Cap Capi and more. And, all of them contributed to an 8 win season that was an improvement over last year! This staff molded this group into a team that could win games in the NFL. No wonder they had to be conservative many times with the overall skill sets of the players. Congratulations to the Coaches and the Players! The Bills future looks bright. John in Jax
The unbridled optimism in this forum, no matter how whacked, is truly astounding. This team could have been ssssooooo much better with actual good coaching. There's always next year! LOL
Elite Poster
How will we feel about the coaching if the chargers beat us on a tie breaker due to head to head because we had 5 pick Peterman out there.

Yeah we could have went with 60 yard per game TT instead. TT played well today, but the week prior to Chargers had 56 yards against NO and the week prior stats looked decent against Jets, but was mostly in garbage time. TT is what he is, do agree with many that the team could have played more to his strengths, but he's had more shaky outings than good games. Though will admit am torn between keeping TT around for another year and with all the draft picks strengthen the rest of the team, mainly both sides of line. Maybe use 2nd round pick on a QB. This year in Sept there were 4 or 5 can't miss franchise college QB's, now there are 4 or 5 college QB's who all have question marks in one way or another, could be great or all middle of the road. Based on that, not sure it's worth moving up in the draft for any of them, or at least the ones from the Pac

Ol Dirty B
The list of garbage signings the poster listed off... and the over the top optimism is some sarcasm I can appreciate. Cheers to McDermott for bringing us all Vlad. I needed some Vlad playing football in my life 3 minutes ago, BillnutinHouston said: Strawman. Throw was playing brutally at the time. It's not a straw man at all. The guy threw five !@#$ing interceptions and showed no reason he deserved to be handed the job.
Magox
Definitely could improve with clock management, but there is so much more to coaching than that and with the lack of talent this team has, he's really held this together and has had them playing good fundamental football. Thanks for a good, logical response. When you really digest the talent on the team overall it's pretty amazing !
TigerJ
This coaching staff has easily done enough to warrant another year. They've not been perfect, but the need for some continuity in the organization far outweighs the coaching mistakes and misjudgments that have been made. There is no reason to think they can't improve next season.

bdutton
What was the deal with calling a timeout on 3rd and long while on defense with about 4:41 left in the half??? We ended up giving up the first down on that play but got lucky when we held them again on the next series to a punt. Was that was some stupid clock management???
