BRH Posted March 8, 2005 Posted March 8, 2005 Oh, get bent, you wordless galoot. 266953 In about a thousand years it WILL be in Buffalo though.
Kevbeau Posted March 8, 2005 Posted March 8, 2005 Depending on if you come in early Friday-Thursday you can keep the waterfull theme and check out Letchworth State Park (3 falls) and have dinner at the Glen Iris Inn. The leaves won't be fully turned yet, but it's beautiful year round. You can even stay at the Inn, but book early because it fill up fast in the fall. Then head to THE Falls on Saturday.
plenzmd1 Posted March 8, 2005 Posted March 8, 2005 Great suggestions are pouring in from all you fellow Bills fans and we are so appreciative of your support. I received this message from SeasontixfromClev member and so far this is definitely what we are looking for.Captainhook and fezmid also have some great ideas. Bills fans are awesome..........just like FAMILY! Hey Coach, Good luck!! 266612 Coach, I do believe you said money no object. If it was me, I would look into flying into Toronto Friday morning and spending the Friday night in Toronto. Great shopping for her, the hall of fame for you.. Faboulous restaurants and theater, follow by a stay in the Royal York. Just a super hotel. Sat morn, get up and do the falls thing. I would take the train from toronto to NF ontario(right across from the Royal York) and tyry to rent a car in NF USA with drop off at Buffalo airport. If you both golf, i would look into playing the new courcse up there where they held the womens Canadian Open, heard thats pretty cool. Would saty saturday evening at a B&B in Niagara on the Lake. I personally have never stayed there, but here there are some great ones with great restarants. And most important, chicks dig the small inn thing. Sunday, you know the drill. Again, if money is a concern, fly into Buffalo on Friday and just rent a car there and drive to Toronto and carry on as outlined above. GL

cåblelady Posted March 9, 2005 Posted March 9, 2005 Of course game day should be spent sitting with the TBD group (If the TBD party is opening game) 266933 It took somebody until 3:00 to PROMOTE THE TBD TAILGATE ???

COACH85 Posted March 9, 2005 Author Posted March 9, 2005 All I know is that all the people who have responded are awesome and we have already compiled a nice list of options from only one day that we could have never imagined trying to pull off on our own. We are extremely appreciative of everyone's input and we have no doubt it will be a memorable weekend for the both of us. My wife is truly becoming a die hard Bills fan as we didn't miss a single game at Champps Restaurant in Northern Virginia last year and we wear our Bills shirts for every game. Going up to Buffalo to take in our first live game together...................well folks, life doesn't get any better then that. Going to Niagra Falls, taking in some Casino action, tailgating the day of the game................thats just the icing on the cake. Thanks again fellow Bills fans.........YOUR THE BEST!! I mentioned it at 12:13......actually mentioned the get together at Danny's the night before too. 267292

EBgreens.com Rated #9 steak house in the U. S. OF A. located in Hyatt Hotel in Buffalo Of course game day should be spent sitting with the TBD group (If the TBD party is opening game) Need tickets? I have extras on the 50 yardline upper deck on the sunnyside of the Ralph.? 266933 The jet boat is really a blast. My wife and I did this a few years ago. I would add a trip to the Basillica in South Buffalo. Truly an awesome church in Buffalo. Rivals any church this side of Venice.
PromoTheRobot Posted March 9, 2005 Posted March 9, 2005 In Buffalo, try the Buffalo Chop House near Chippawa St downtown. High end steak house. Stay at one of the Cabadian hotels at the Falls. There's one that's attatcthed to the new Casino. It's supposed to be real nice, with a Falls view. Actually, one possibility no one mentioned is staying in Niagara-On-The-Lake, Ontario. Quaint village with a decidedly British feel. They even serve afternoon tea there. Very scenic. Some romantic small hotels and inns there. Also if you guys like to golf, they have some kick-ass courses there. http://www.niagaraonthelake.com/ PTR

Also, another option is staying in East Aurora - a beautiful and romantic village - especially in late summer.

crazyDingo Posted March 9, 2005 Posted March 9, 2005 Your whirlwind trip begins Friday, at the gateway to the Niagara Frontier with a perfect landing in the new and improved Buffalo/Niagara Falls airport. Directly across from the arrival gates, you can choose from any of the major rental car companies, but from Avis, we have selected a convertible class car (329 +tax) for pickup Friday. Poker) . Saturday morning will find you refreshed and in awe of the spectacular Niagara Falls views, spend the morning strolling along the Niagara Falls park and take a ride on the Maid of the Mist (10-15 Cdn).... Darn, Guff. Thats what I was gonna say.
elcrusho Posted March 9, 2005 Posted March 9, 2005 Going to Niagara Falls is over-rated... Don't goto the Olympic on Genesee st by the airport to eat ...oh god you don't want to hear what happened after I went there haha
