Braedenstearns Posted December 17, 2017 Posted December 17, 2017 NFL shows us out of the 6th seed and Ravens in it. I thought we somehow had the tiebreaker with them?
MAJBobby Posted December 17, 2017 Posted December 17, 2017 (edited) Because Common Opponents tie breaker kicked in this week. This was always expected Ravens have the tie breaker on us so you have to win more rhen them Edited December 17, 2017 by MAJBobby 1
What a Tuel Posted December 17, 2017 Posted December 17, 2017 (edited) We aren't. Theirs and rexs wishful thinking. Scratch that. You are right. Edited December 17, 2017 by What a Tuel
Boatdrinks Posted December 17, 2017 Posted December 17, 2017 Yep. It's a fluid situation. All that matters is week 17 at around 4pm

What is important to know is the BILLS Need help and do not control own destiny. However win next two weeks get to 10 wins and you are likely in
Kmart128 Posted December 17, 2017 Posted December 17, 2017 Common opponents reached the minimum 4 games so even tho we won we lost the tie breaker
GunnerBill Posted December 17, 2017 Posted December 17, 2017 How does the common opponent tiebreaker work viz a vie teams that one team plays twice? So for example the Ravens will play the Bengals twice and we will play them once. With the Dolphins that flips. Anyone know how that is then calculated? Do all of those games count for the tiebreak?

Yes it counts

They take the winning percentage of all those games
/dev/null Posted December 17, 2017 Posted December 17, 2017 Win the next two games then worry about the seedings

GG Posted December 17, 2017 Posted December 17, 2017 (edited) Good chance Tenn loses out the string, and we hope that Raiders beat Chargers. PS, there's still a shot at the division title Edited December 17, 2017 by GG
Another Fan Posted December 17, 2017 Posted December 17, 2017 If the Titans lose today , are we technically the 5th seed then?
MAJBobby Posted December 17, 2017 Posted December 17, 2017 Just WIN out. Get to 10 wins and your in because Tenn will drop a game either today or next week 1 minute ago, Another Fan said: If the Titans lose today , are we technically the 5th seed then? No i think we would be the 6th seed maybe. We wont seed higher than Balt with same records

bills6969 Posted December 17, 2017 Posted December 17, 2017 Doesnt really matter. Ravens are in. Very little chance they lose either of the last 2 games (Colts, Bungles). Its going to come down to Bills, Titans and Chargers for the final spot. Basically just need to root hard against both teams. Titans are down to niners now and have a very tough remaining schedule. Chargers are one game back but have the head to head over us. Really need the Jets to beat them next week or they will have the advantage over us. 1 1
SlimShady'sSpaceForce Posted December 17, 2017 Posted December 17, 2017 We beat the Browns and they beat the Browns we both won ????
