CircleTheWagons99 Posted December 16, 2017 Posted December 16, 2017 Blow hard rex, and we are still stuck with HIS QB. 2
Mr. WEO Posted December 16, 2017 Posted December 16, 2017 I like how he describes Rex as a reigning over confusion and no adjustments......and then concludes Rex outsmarted himself. Yeah, that's what I was. Rex was too smart for his own good!

Ed_Formerly_of_Roch Posted December 16, 2017 Posted December 16, 2017 May have been one of these things where Rex came up with (or borrowed from Daddy) this great defensive scheme. Teams figured it out so Rex adjusted, teams figured it out and Rex adjusted again. But got to the point his adjustments became too complex for it to work at game speed. 2
BillsFan130 Posted December 16, 2017 Posted December 16, 2017 Ya not surprised. We pretty much saw all of those things he talked about. Thats why jim lehnard was so valuable to Rex. Apparently he would check into the right call every time and he was one of the only people who could grasp Rex's confusing defence.
JPP Posted December 16, 2017 Posted December 16, 2017 Thats what happens when you get Rex & Rob together......

RobH063 Posted December 16, 2017 Posted December 16, 2017 A little off topic but is there someplace I can read the whole article or is what 26CornerBlitz provided all of the interview? I don't use Twitter.

If rex would have never been hired we would never have had to deal with TT. Ill “thank” McD IF TT is still on the team next year.

You can thank him now, because McDermott made the call to bring him back in '17. 1 2
Kirby Jackson Posted December 16, 2017 Posted December 16, 2017 Not a surprise at all, Rex was clearly the issue. It’s not even up for debate. He set the franchise back. 1

Isn't it great to be able to have these guys talk to our fired blowhard head coach about our current starting QB. Sadly if Tyrod stays next year we can again next year have the Rex talk. SMH, the elf on the shelve for McD having Tyrod still here. Who is better with Tyrod, Rex or McD? The debate continues. Remember blame everyone else because HOF QB Tyrod is never at fault. 14 minutes ago, Kirby Jackson said: Not a surprise at all, Rex was clearly the issue. It’s not even up for debate. This is where your agenda falls woefully short and you lose credibility. They were a top 10 DVOA and scoring offense both years that Rex was here. He was a defensive coach. That’s the side of the ball that he was responsible for. They were 28th DVOA in 2016 and 28th in 2015. If you chose to blame the top 10 offenses over the bottom 4 defenses than I don’t respect your analysis. It’s cleary not objective (or right). Edited December 16, 2017 by Kirby Jackson 7
baskingridgebillsfan Posted December 16, 2017 Posted December 16, 2017 Rex outsmarted himself seems to fit the bill. I really wonder what Rex would have done when he was on his a game. such a shame they wasted 2 seasons

Tyrod has his problems but the defense was absolutely atrocious the past two years.
