ChevyVanMiller Posted March 8, 2005 Posted March 8, 2005 Bueller...Bueller... 266397[/snapback] I believe that today is the Kid's Day edition of the News. Volunteers are on street corners around WNY selling copies for $1. Proceeds benefit Children's Hospital. The online edition will probably post later than normal to allow for maximun copies to be sold on the streets.
carpbflo Posted March 8, 2005 Posted March 8, 2005 Today is Kids' Day. They are probably a little behind as they print a special edition to raise money for the Variety Club. http://www.buffalo.com/kidsday/

I thought it was impossible to come to a stop light without seeing the volunteers there. PS What a terrible morning to be standing outside hawking papers. Kudos to all volunteers for helping out with a good cause!
MarkyMannn Posted March 8, 2005 Posted March 8, 2005 My understanding is that the Buff news presses were down and they were short 80,000 papers. Hope they donate $80,000 to make up for the shortfall of papers
