That's my longtime friend Beth Mowins calling the game.  As a Bills fan, I'm thrilled she's calling this.  And if you don't like one of the hardest working announcer in sports, a CNYer who has been calling games nationally for a quarter of a century, well, respectfully suck it.

But glad to be here!

This is a side discussion of the game that is obviously detracting from the game time experience for quite a few of us.  If it is not affecting you, why are you in this thread?

Not that I think she is good, she has made multiple mistakes but it's her voice that kills it. How does someone with a voice like that convince themselves that being a broadcaster is a good idea? That's like me trying out to be a pornstar.

Come on lady, SPEAR my ears for another 2 hours.

worst...announcers...ever!  OMG!  Funnily enough, someone in this thread mentioned that she has called basketball games.  My first thought was, "she sounds like she would be better off calling basketball games"...  This is horrible...

Her coworker is even worse!

she should do hockey

And all I can tell you is 1.  I think she's great (biased, of course) 2. I'm enjoying the call and the game and 3. I can only point you towards her long resume, calling NFL, NCAA College Football, NCAA Mens and Womens BB Tourney, FIFA, and dozens of other calls across numerous networks as indication of what people think of her.

She called a MNF game earlier this year, the first woman to call one in nearly 30 years.  She's also been doing Raiders preseason games for a few years.

Sorry but her voice is not appealing to the ears and she has already messed up players names on several occasions .  Not a good performance when you can't get the players names correct.  Don't confuse effort with results :)

she drifts off in herconversation.  repeats herself several times.  we have heard cadet went to app state 3 times now.  thanks!

haven't heard **** about o'leary, though.

She is God-awful. Her voice is annoying and she can't differentiate Taylor and McCoy. Feely is just about useless as a color commentator as well. She set him up a few times to jump in and he remained quiet.

Here's all I can say:  I'm thrilled to be a member on here.  Want to keep it on the positive side.  But I've heard this argument for years, about her voice.  And in a performance driven industry, where results are ALWAYS the determining factor, she keeps getting bigger and bigger games.

Agree to disagree.
