The Now Moment Posted December 12, 2017 Posted December 12, 2017 I remember when everyone was up in arms over them trading Jay Ajayi...maybe they saw something in Drake and Drake seems to fit their scheme better. Scheme fit for a running back matters.

Nick the Greek Posted December 12, 2017 Posted December 12, 2017 We've been much better against the run as of late. Yea, that 3 game skid against Jets/Aints/Bolts was bad, but I hope Leslie and McD have made the adjustments. It is entirely possible.

Expand Both Williams and Drake have had carries and played more and done a better job. Drake actually had more carries or just as many carries when Williams was healthy. Ajayi of course was a selfish player but some fans were up in arms after he was traded. I thought it was a good move for them.

I thought it was a good move for them. Expand Yeah he hasn't looked good in Philly. It's possible he is the 3rd best back out there. IIRC durability was an issue with Drake at Bama. 1
