Steptide Posted December 11, 2017 Posted December 11, 2017 We had some major things go our way in the end of that game. Starting with the 2 point conversion that got called back and sent the Colts back another 10 yards. I don't know about you guys, but I don't think we would've drove the field and scored with a minute left if the Colts didn't get that penalty Then Webb throws and interception and sets the Colts up for a field goal with 8 seconds left and vineteri misses by like a foot sending the game to overtime Then we do something ridiculous and punt on 4th and 1 for a net gain of like 15 yards. Anyways, you all know how it ended. It's nothing short of a miracle that we won this game. I can't remember any recent game in the last 10 or so years where so many things went our way and we won 2 1
chaccof Posted December 11, 2017 Posted December 11, 2017 Yes, it was a bit uncharacteristic and oddly exciting to have something go the Bills way. 2
Jerome007 Posted December 11, 2017 Posted December 11, 2017 Heart attack game. And yes they won, and yes I was in ecstasy, but that punt was such a gutless decision it leaves a weird bad taste now looking at McD. He played for the tie! Players decided otherwise.
unclepete Posted December 11, 2017 Posted December 11, 2017 A lot definitely wen't our way. Not to mention losing both starting QBs. Hopefully this leads to a trend of good fortune for us.
Homey D. Clown Posted December 11, 2017 Posted December 11, 2017 they historically lose these types of games, defying all odds at times. In fact, the Bills are losing at a factor of 3 over just standing at the 50 yard line and letting the coin toss decide who wins, rather than attempting to actually play the game.
Royale with Cheese Posted December 11, 2017 Posted December 11, 2017 Isn't the rule, the WR must still attempt to run his pattern? Once he made contact with Hyde, he just stood there. 1
Andrew Son Posted December 11, 2017 Posted December 11, 2017 With all the talk about our punt, the most idiotic move in that game was by Pagano. How on earth do you sit on the ball after the interception and count on a 43 yard field goal in those conditions?
Gugny Posted December 11, 2017 Posted December 11, 2017 That bull **** call on the 2-point conversion was 10x the gift that the bull **** call on Von Miller in week 3 was. I'll take the good bounces. Bills need to take advantage now. 1
Charles Romes Posted December 11, 2017 Posted December 11, 2017 We are pretty much maxing out this year. The only other thing that could have happened is zay jones making the catch week 2 1
Juice_32 Posted December 11, 2017 Posted December 11, 2017 Everyone had the same feeling when Webb threw that pick in the 4th. Thank goodness for Pagano. McD and Webb need to get him a nice Christmas gift.

Plus it was within one yard of the LOS. The Bills got a badly needed xmas gift from the zebras. Edited December 11, 2017 by CodeMonkey
26CornerBlitz Posted December 11, 2017 Posted December 11, 2017 Don't look a gift horse in the mouth.
Jackington Posted December 11, 2017 Posted December 11, 2017 You can't block a guy before the ball is thrown. I guess they were lucky the refs called it, but it was definitely a penalty and the only reason the guy was open. Colts were lucky they made the extra point...
Dorkington Posted December 11, 2017 Posted December 11, 2017 We've been *very* lucky this season compared to past seasons. It's nice to experience for once.
BuffaloBill Posted December 11, 2017 Posted December 11, 2017 The Bills were very lucky for a change....
TBDlurkerSINCE07 Posted December 11, 2017 Posted December 11, 2017 Definitely thought the flag on the 2pt play was going to be for Unsportsmanlike Conduct on the fans throwing snowballs. It was a late flag, so I thought it was after the play and the announcers had just mentioned the fans doing such. Anyone know why (if) the flag was so late? Or was it just not seen? I can imagine the ref throwing the flag on a play like that 5-10 seconds after the act occurred.

Don't know if it was that late or the TV people just didn't see it in all the snow.

SlimShady'sSpaceForce Posted December 11, 2017 Posted December 11, 2017 Maybe the Bills are getting some luck back like they did earlier in the season.
