Wayne Arnold Posted December 10, 2017 Posted December 10, 2017 We need a dome for days like this. If this game were meaningful it would be a travesty. Imagine a playoff game in conditions like this? Horrible.
ExiledInIllinois Posted December 10, 2017 Posted December 10, 2017 (edited) Can they make it retractable and waterproof everything. And... During football, mandate that it has to stay open. Close the roof to melt the snow before and after game. Saves labor, and best of both worlds. Or would people cry & whine: "Close the roof during inclement weather!" Too tempting???? Royale with Cheese Posted December 10, 2017 Posted December 10, 2017 Yes I would want a dome. I want to see world class athletes at their best.

A roof only to heat and melt snow for snow removal before and after game AND for OTHER events.
george c Posted December 10, 2017 Posted December 10, 2017 Snow only helps the less talented team. Ill never go to another winter game. dome? I’m back in for season tickets.

Just because the teams didn't combine for 70 points? Listen im all for games in the cold and/or the elements. But this today was complete garbage to watch. Lets not sugar coat it.
Beast Posted December 10, 2017 Posted December 10, 2017 (edited) Today’s game was not fun. It was as boring as it gets.I like snow games but today was stupid. Outside of the W, I hated it. Edited December 10, 2017 by Binghamton Beast

As a counter point - if it were a bigger game, in these conditions, it's a game that would be talked about for years by more than just Bills fans. Sure, some of that would be negative (ugly game! etc), but a lot would be positive. You don't get special games like this in a dome.

I'd much rather see a game that results in a fair outcome than a spectacle.

Yes trash I don't even understand this point of view. I guess to some people football is defined only by high scoring offenses. I think that is sad. We did have at least 4 plays of 20 yards or more... More than your average game. Especially with our #2 and #3 QBs playing. 1

May Day 10 Posted December 10, 2017 Posted December 10, 2017 i thought it was a great game. i have been trading texts with friends all day who were glued to their tvs. some of these friends usually couldnt care less about the bills

All the halftime and postgame shows were having fun with it and recounting their snow games, etc. Snow is the ****. Football in the snow is even better! One of the benefits of living in WNY for sure.
WhoTom Posted December 10, 2017 Posted December 10, 2017 I like snow games - a taste of old-school football. Would have been better if they were wearing throwbacks instead of the "color rush" red.

The new stadium will be a dome or have a retractable roof doesnt make financial sense not to be Game was phenomenal. Hope I get to see a few more league wide this year.
May Day 10 Posted December 10, 2017 Posted December 10, 2017 i hate color rush and "cutesy" jerseys (thanks oregon)... but i thought the red was a great contrast in the snow 1
Another Fan Posted December 10, 2017 Posted December 10, 2017 Kinda just dawned on me the Patriots game last week was one of the latest times they've come to Buffalo in the year. Hmm, can it be the NFL calculates the increased odds they'd have to play on the road in conditions like that?
apuszczalowski Posted December 10, 2017 Posted December 10, 2017 3 hours ago, MAJBobby said: This isnt NFL football jesus I agree with you here, that wasn't Football, and how would fans react if this team was actually expected to be contenders and lost a game like this because of a fluke play caused by the snow and they missed the playoffs because of it? The difference between the other teams in the north east not having domes and the Bills is that those teams don't have the stadium in a location thats known for getting hit with large amounts of lake effect snow. If a new stadium is built, it may mean a dome, partial roof, or location out of a snow belt. It has nothing to do with fans being wusses or "snowflakes" and more to do with being able to play proper football and not the mess that happened today. Its fun to watch, but not a great game thats decided by the skills of the players.
K D Posted December 10, 2017 Posted December 10, 2017 If they built a dome, 75% of the fans couldn't afford to go
