H2o Posted December 8, 2017 Posted December 8, 2017 It seems to me like Hue has all the power in Cleveland at the moment. He was the one who put the deal together for McCarron and Brown purposely didn't submit the paperwork. The owner was pissed and you see who got fired. As of right now I think Dorsey is just a figurehead and a "yes" man. We'll see how this all plays out.

They are well positioned to say the least and Dorsey is a solid choice to make the right draft picks and free agency acquisitions. Gotta identify and draft the right QB to finally end the Factory of Sadness.

They are well positioned because they have worked the draft to accumulate quite a few draft picks while at the same time getting rid of players that's given them loads of cap space. Spare me the unproven tank talk.

THAT is why they're well positioned, numbskull.

If the Bills were doing what they did, Shady, Kyle, Alexander, Wood, Tyrod and maybe others would be elsewhere in 2017.

But could you imagine the wailing and gnashing of teeth around here if they did?
Peter Posted December 8, 2017 Posted December 8, 2017 For Cleveland's sake, I hope Dorsey does not waste all of their "assets" like Tim Murray did.

GunnerBill Posted December 8, 2017 Posted December 8, 2017 (edited) They are less well positioned than they would be if they had just picked Carson Wentz or Deshaun Watson. Fact. Punting on getting a franchise QB doesn't work. Edited December 8, 2017 by GunnerBill

Fact. I agree. That moved hurts and it's going to linger. It looks like Hue was able to save face because that was Sashi's screw up. Meanwhile he has won one game in nearly two seasons and has shown that he will fall out of line if he doesn't get his way. If for whatever reason they trusted Hue that much then make him the GM. What could possibly go wrong? They could then find a better coach! Edited December 8, 2017 by Commonsense

They can. They can do the thing they should have done all along and take franchise Quarterback. If they select anyone other than Josh Rosen they deserve everything they get. They are slightly lucky that 3 consecutive years with guys worth taking have arrived at the right time for them though. Sachi Brown didn't have a clue what he was doing. 1
apuszczalowski Posted December 8, 2017 Posted December 8, 2017 Yeah, they are going to be awesome now, all these draft picks and get the top pick to take a QB that's guaranteed to be a franchise guy cause that's what you get with the #1 pick. And all you need is a QB to win, which is about all they have cause they either couldn't draft or traded away any body worth anything to get picks. They have maybe a half dozen players on that team that are worth keeping and almosy an entire roster to rebuild. Good thing theyhave cap space cause they are going to need it to overpay FAs to actually sign with that franchise. I just wish the Bills could be so lucky!
