Another Fan Posted December 7, 2017 Posted December 7, 2017 Robert Woods- he's not doing too bad with the Rams this year. Chris Hogan?
stevewin Posted December 7, 2017 Posted December 7, 2017 TKO was my first thought - then I also thought of London Fletcher. Gave up his best football playing years here -
Dadonkadonk Posted December 7, 2017 Posted December 7, 2017 Three years ago I thought Kyle was done with the foot problems he had. Now he is a wall of fame guy and the answer to your question. However Schobel was far better than most on here give him credit and not that far behind Kyle. Certainly had more impact plays than Kyle but not as consistent. Peters is the best talent this team has had in 20 years. Had he stayed he would have been behind only OJ, Kelly, Thurman, and Bruce Smith in the conversation of best Bills ever.

I say Kyle, no doubt. Way more years at a high level. Jason Peters a distant second? No one seemed to miss him at the time, don't know why. Moulds was super fun to watch, better than Lee Evans but shorter stint.
Manther Posted December 7, 2017 Posted December 7, 2017 My first thought is nobody was wasted. We really didn't have a standout. But, if I had to pick a wasted talent due to a poor team, coach or plan, I would pick either.......... Shady or Watkins

Both went on to have very good careers with other teams Peters spent a while at Buffalo, seemed like he made every pro bowl since starting. How was he ever a tight end? he's huge. Sammy Watkins' Rib Posted December 7, 2017 Posted December 7, 2017 Lee Evans shouldn't be on the list. He just wasn't a very good player. More of a one trick pony. And he could only do that trick for a few years. If he was good he would have stuck around beyond age 30. He only played 8 seasons in the NFL and I don't believe he retired due to injury.

A healthy Goodwin.
KD in CA Posted December 7, 2017 Posted December 7, 2017 I think if that's the best five guys we can come up with in nearly 20 years, we know why the drought has gone on so long! 1

thenorthremembers Posted December 7, 2017 Posted December 7, 2017 Is anyone else baffled at the amount of times Watkins has come up? Physically gifted for sure, but he is on pace for 41 catches this year. Kyle Williams is the main guy for this. Spikes and McCoy would be the other two but both played in other cities and made it to the playoffs.

bmur66 Posted December 7, 2017 Posted December 7, 2017 I don't know about Schoebel. I don't recall him ever coming up big when we needed a big play.
