Freddie's Dead Posted December 10, 2017 Posted December 10, 2017 Reilly already in the McD doghouse, along with Jon Miller.

This organization/ team / coaching staff is so stupid. We rarely throw to Holmes, O'Leary or Thomas anyway. Why not give Reilly a shot? Just dumb. Edited December 10, 2017 by LABILLBACKER

There is ABSOLUTELY NO REASON to have 53 players and not have them all active. The problem with that is some players will get abused. If a player is a high draft pick or a high salary cap player and is injured he will sit but for a player who was a UFA the player will get waved to get another body in otherwise you hear complaints how other team had more active (healthy) players.

Not buying it, if you make the team your active plain and simple.

Big Turk Posted December 17, 2017 Posted December 17, 2017 Inactive whats the point of activating him?
Rico Posted December 17, 2017 Posted December 17, 2017 I don't understand this either. High-motor lunch-pail WRs can be useful in winter games.

26CornerBlitz Posted December 22, 2017 Author Posted December 22, 2017 Andre Holmes is out for the Week 16 game at NE. Looks like Reilly will make his NFL regular season debut. 1
wppete Posted December 22, 2017 Posted December 22, 2017 Take Tate out put in Rilley. Have someone else return kicks Tate is not doing a great job anyway. 1
Kirby Jackson Posted December 22, 2017 Posted December 22, 2017 Glad that we protected Holmes, Ducasse and Davis. I would have preferred Reilly, Groy, Eric Lee and a 3rd but what do I know. I am excited to see Reilly get a chance. I think that he gets open. That’s something that our receivers not named Thompson have a hard time doing. I don’t want to get carried away but think that he could be a contributor moving forward. 3

It's tough to argue against this statement. I have to agree.

Now we'll get to see what he's got against NFL caliber DBs It shouldn't have taken this long considering Matthews and Holmes have been worthless. Good luck Brandon.
