fridge Posted December 5, 2017 Posted December 5, 2017 I saw him in person this year and made a point to focus on his awareness. Let's just say that I don't get the hype.

I feel like I need to go hunt a few Elk or something... If you don’t do it bare handed, it doesn’t count. Dick Hammer would have it no other way.

Root for the Giants to win some games, and the Browns to take Rosen (also from that article). If that happens, bills need to throw every draft pick we need to at the 49ers/Colts for that 2nd overall. Yes pray the Browns are dumb enough to select Rosen. I can easily see us deal with the Niners for Darnold. But it Will be expensive. Darnold, Rudolph or Cousins should be the target in that order...
CuddyDark Posted December 5, 2017 Posted December 5, 2017 (edited) They also loved Carson Wentz. They have to get him (and he has to pan out) or what does it matter? Edited December 5, 2017 by CuddyDark
Brianmoorman4jesus Posted December 5, 2017 Posted December 5, 2017 All 32 teams probably loved Andrew Luck to. What’s that get you at the end of the day?

The Colts will not trade that pick if it's #2 in conference. The 49ers will. In other words, we need the 49ers to not win another game or we ain't getting Rosen or Darnold. Which is ok we're going to get our QB. I hope.
sven233 Posted December 5, 2017 Posted December 5, 2017 I realize there are a ton of holes on this team and the picks we have are very valuable. However, I have had enough with the constant passive attitude when it comes to drafting a QB. If there is a guy they love, whoever it is, I hope they do whatever necessary to get him.
aceman_16 Posted December 5, 2017 Posted December 5, 2017 I heard from an Uber driver who USED to be a taxi driver who used to drive around famous Buffalonians that indeed Buffalo wants a QB like Darnold.

If Pagano gets canned, as expected, it'll be interesting to see who he is replaced with. Could the Colts lean towards a rebuild with another QB and open the possibility of trading Luck? Irsay's comments about Luck's injury being in his head likely didn't go over too well with Andrew.
thebandit27 Posted December 5, 2017 Posted December 5, 2017 Miller is typically slinging mud with his draft speculation He does a pretty good job at evaluating players, but every year he has to walk back some kind of info he is given by his sources

Same thing happened to Christian Hackenburg and well... Compare with Russell Wilson who got better and better every year of college. That’s why I have my sights set on Lamar Jackson. Continual improvement every season. It’s worth pointing out these scout comments came from August when Sam Darnold was considered a consensus #1 overall pick with some sources calling him the best QB prospect since Andrew Luck. This past season may have lowered his value to the Bills. I'm on the Lamar Jackson train too. His upcoming bowl game against Miss. St. will put a nail in the coffin if he has a good game. They have one of the top rated pass defenses in CFB.
