Pine Barrens Mafia Posted December 4, 2017 Posted December 4, 2017 This team isn't making the playoffs, and a difference of 10 slots in the draft will help to ensure the future of the franchise. The time has come to lose out. And we need to also hope the chiefs continue their slide. 8-8 is a disease, and if they try and win these games, that's where they'll end up. Do it. Do what's right for a change. Tank the rest of the season. 2
Fadingpain Posted December 4, 2017 Posted December 4, 2017 If Tyrod is hurt seriously enough to shelf him for the season and Peterman plays all the games, we may very well struggle to get another win. So it could be an accidental tank, but what the hell.

nucci Posted December 4, 2017 Posted December 4, 2017 Sabres and Bills in last place again...how wonderful . I say both teams tank for another 3-4 years...Pegula's will fire everyone again....maybe winning teams in 2025? You guys seem ok with this

papazoid Posted December 4, 2017 Posted December 4, 2017 no intentional tanking players and coaches will never tank, their livelihoods are at stake. some players who have lots of guaranteed money may not play so hard. some GM's may encourage coaches to play backups more to evaluate players for purposes of next season. losing will likely happen on it's own

Woodman19 Posted December 4, 2017 Posted December 4, 2017 Imagine if by impossible chance both KC and us went 6-10

People interchange the words tank and rebuilding when one means intentionally trying to lose and the other is making legitimately shrewd moves for the future. The Sabres are a perfect example of tanking.
Marty McFly Posted December 4, 2017 Posted December 4, 2017 Too late to lose out but if the rookie starts you can start labeling this year as 6-10

McBean Posted December 4, 2017 Posted December 4, 2017 Fans the past 10 years have said you’re wrong because “you play to win the game!” Yet, we’ve missed out on Cam Newton, Andrew Luck, Big Ben, and the list goes on. I don’t know how much longer I can watch pathetic QB play. The last time we made the playoffs I was 9...now I’m turning 28 this month.

Marty McFly Posted December 4, 2017 Posted December 4, 2017 If we lose vs the colts i def think losing out is the way tto go But IF we sneak into the WC at 9-7 then that might reverse the flutie curse.

Fallser Posted December 4, 2017 Posted December 4, 2017 Go for the 6-10...something dumb like 8-8 gets us no where near where we need to be.
Nuncha Posted December 4, 2017 Posted December 4, 2017 NO worries - they may not have to try to lose out. It will most likely happen anyway.
