Bing Bong Posted December 3, 2017 Posted December 3, 2017 (edited) For many teams, the receiver corps has a positive effect on the offense, ie making catches they probably shouldn't catch, route running, adjusting to broken plays. These guys have quite a negative impact. I don't think we properly take in this impact when we talk about quarterbacks. Edited December 3, 2017 by PetermanThrew5Picks
Gray Beard Posted December 3, 2017 Posted December 3, 2017 LIke when one of Peterman's first throws today hit his receiver in the belly and it was incomplete? That kind of negative impact? 2
Gray Beard Posted December 3, 2017 Posted December 3, 2017 It goes both ways though. A QB should be able to throw a receiver open. Back shoulder type of stuff. 1
Laughing Coffin Posted December 3, 2017 Posted December 3, 2017 How about evaluating Tyrod's usage of WRs when he had Sammy, Woods, Goodwin lmao 1

Or are you referring to the time all of them were injured at the same time? At least Zay is dropping passes for Peterman too. Be consistent young man! Well done! 3

MAJBobby Posted December 4, 2017 Posted December 4, 2017 Yeah glad we traded Watkins (availability reasons) and got Matthews and Benjamin (cant stay on the field) 1
Pine Barrens Mafia Posted December 4, 2017 Posted December 4, 2017 Crank up the TT excuse machine one last time, it'll be shut down 4 weeks from now. 1

OldTimer1960 Posted December 4, 2017 Posted December 4, 2017 Jordan Matthews averaged 75 receptions per season in his 3 years in Philadelphia. No doubt that he has been hampered by injuries this year, but I conclude that the offense and QB are limiting him.

Watkins has 28 receptions so far (5 TDS though). Edited December 4, 2017 by OldTimer1960

Goodwin his already bested his best year in Buffalo stat wise and still has 4 games to go. All while having to catch balls from 3 different QBs in a new scheme.
billsfan_34 Posted December 4, 2017 Posted December 4, 2017 The receivers are God awful- the whole bunch. No ones rarely open or gets any kind of seperation. That said TT could miss the broad side of a barn sometimes. On 11/27/2017 at 11:36 AM, BuffaloBill said: Thank you ... much better title and it will likely get more traffic.
Samwell Tarly Posted December 4, 2017 Posted December 4, 2017 There are plenty of qb's in this league who could manage more than 60 yards with this group. 1
TheElectricCompany Posted December 4, 2017 Posted December 4, 2017 Buffalo is actually wide receiver purgatory.
