PlayoffsPlease Posted December 3, 2017 Posted December 3, 2017 Are the Bills bad or just not really good? 6-6 is decent. Losing to the Patriots is hardly rare in the NFL. But the 4 out of five losses, with the one win being against an apparently hapless Chiefs team seems pretty bad. Can't really figure out where this team is at.
aceman_16 Posted December 3, 2017 Posted December 3, 2017 (edited) We are a below average team shooting higher than our collective talent level. Edited December 4, 2017 by aceman_16 1
Comebackkid Posted December 3, 2017 Posted December 3, 2017 they arent really good. I think they need to fill in some holes and get used to playing as a unit. To much player turnover, scheme turnover the last few years... (decades)
D. L. Hot-Flamethrower Posted December 3, 2017 Posted December 3, 2017 We are just not good enough anywhere! Righting this ship will require work and some good fortune.
BuffaloBillyG Posted December 3, 2017 Posted December 3, 2017 Most people had this team as a 7-9 win team. That's ultimately where we will likely be. False hope sprung after the 5-2 start...but to quote Denny Green "They were who we though they were. All in all I'm not disappointed in this season. Now where we go from here is anyone's guess...

Nihilarian Posted December 3, 2017 Posted December 3, 2017 (edited) This team is a quality franchise QB away from the playoffs. Even with a not so great right side of the line, McCoy has enough to be great with a better QB. Edited December 3, 2017 by Nihilarian

About average and lacking at the most important position. The only time they are complicated to figure out is when you are hoping they are something noteworthy (good or bad)
T-Bomb Posted December 3, 2017 Posted December 3, 2017 The ownership is bad, Trump was right, Pegula is not a winner. 1
Nuncha Posted December 3, 2017 Posted December 3, 2017 IF they didn't have McCoy, this would be close to the all time worst offense in the history of this sorry franchise.
Happy Posted December 3, 2017 Posted December 3, 2017 They're a middle of the pack team that plays with a lot of heart on defense, and lousy on offense. Bills are a team in transition. It's wait 'till next year, again.
Tatonka68 Posted December 3, 2017 Posted December 3, 2017 Bills need franchise QB, DT, LB, and OL. In that order. QB #1.
Boatdrinks Posted December 3, 2017 Posted December 3, 2017 They are a below average talent team fighting to be average. Average is likely good enough to be in the playoffs this year in the AFC. I have to commend McD for his defensive game plan. Even though the Pats took their foot off the gas a little toward the end, this game was neck and neck down to the wire if the Bills had a decent QB that could actually pass the football. It bodes well for the future imo that McD acquitted himself pretty well. Just needs a functional NFL QB.

The next 2-3 years will be even worse than this year.
goldenboy81 Posted December 3, 2017 Posted December 3, 2017 With this roster they look lucky to have win 6 games.Alot of holes to be filled.Hopefully doesnt take 2 years to build a roster that can compete
Kirby Jackson Posted December 3, 2017 Posted December 3, 2017 I would put them in the “not really good category.” In a league full of teams that are virtually the same the Bills fall right in there.
