Post Gazette Plaxico 265682[/snapback] Their #1 WR is Hines Ward and they are going to extend his contract this year for like a #1 WR money. Plax wants #1 WR money and wants to be the #1 guy (catch 80+ balls, not just bombs thrown his way). Plax has been caught in an unfortunate situation. His reputation of a slacker and skipping plays have made teams in the league raise their eyebrows in paying big money. I think after the Peerless Price and David Boston contracts two years ago, teams are wary to pay top dollar for their WRs and want to go to the draft for them. I thought Baltimore was the most logical place, but when they picked up Derrick Mason, his chances has slipped. Not it is going to be apipe-dream for him to get the 10M signing bonus.
