Keeping the other team off the field is the Bills modus operandi, that's all they try and do every game and scoring is by accident only.  They try to work the clock and milk every second and play the game between the 30's.....

That is what makes the Bills so difficult to watch.  300 yards total offense is there goal and 6 games they haven't reached it (though 3-3).  Another they had 307 and vs. LAC they actually scored in the second half......

BTW when they have 400 yards they are 2-0!!!!!

They will not be close if under 300 yards offense......

Trying to outgun Brady is not a recipe the present day Bill scan win, we have to keep Brady off the field and make D plays

I didn't say outgun Brady, just that play to score 30 and move the ball and score td's not settle for FG's, because NE will be playing to score 30, while Dennison and McDermott play to win 17-13.......

Not going to happen unless the fluke of flukes.

I believe our defense will show up, but it comes down to the offense making plays and scoring. Dennison needs to let Tyrod run wild and stop calling safe plays.

yep.  watching this game is a complete waste of valuable time.   put your fanboys pants in the closet and go do something else this Sunday

Are you really a Bills fan or is this what younger fans do?

just curious because it’s a way of life here and you watch regardless.

I haven’t missed a game in decades, I’ll watch until the end.

In order to beat the Pats you have to be aggressive and lucky. I’m waiting for the day some player takes out Brady to end his season and career. I’ve never wished that on anyone, certainly not doing it now but I’m surprised it hasnt happened.

Of course... as long as TT and the gang don't play dump off 1 - 3 yards short of the 1st down marker...  But I do agree we're not going to win this one if we can't take it to them. Hopefully the OL will get a run game churning because my faith in TT to throw for 300 yds and 3 or more TD's is pretty low, and there in lies the rub.. Which is why we play the conservative style to begin with IMO. But again you are right that won't get us a win against the Patsies... BUT if TT comes unhinged early in an attempt to score 30 and the run game is not getting it done it will get ugly real fast IMO

Week 13 bold predictions: Tyrod Taylor outplays Tom Brady; Vikes stifle Falcons

NFL.com

Tyrod Taylor -- not Shady -- is the star in Buffalo
The Bills have thrown for a measley 13 touchdowns this season. Tyrod Taylor's tossed 12 of them. I don't think anyone expects Buffalo's passing game to take off against the Patriots, but I predict that Taylor will toss more TDs than Tom Brady

I agree.  Problem is Dennison has no clue.  Modify his precious offense to win a big game?  Not likely, unfortunately.

This team is going no where with Dennison. Rick had every opportunity to pattern an offense around Tyrod's strengths. But instead this conservative fool went in the other direction, forcing a pocket passer mentality down the offense' s throat.

Well said. Simple, yet effective.

NE is 4-2 this year giving up 400+ yards. 5-0 giving up less. The defense is giving up 12 points /game over the last 7 games.

NE has scored against every defense so far, to the Bills offense will need to step up big time.

SO the Bills need to move the ball......  I'm sure Dennison is right on it.

Pretty simple stat that is way above our coaches pay grade.

And against NE, yards don't translate into points, so here's the most important part of the game plan...the Bills need to score more points than NE in order to win! Pass it on!

The problem I have with the Bills being conservative is that the runs get stuffed and the passes are short. They don't score and then give the opponents the ball with plenty of time to score.

I have not seen them grind out the clock and sustain drives when playing conservative with a lead at the end of a game. It's just a quick 3 stuffed runs and a punt and asking your defense to create more stops then they should have to.

This is a game they most likely lose so I agree they play like they down 21 points the entire game.

Getting stuffed 3 times in a row for no gain isn't conservative football. I don't know what you call it. It's just bad all day. Might as well just punt on first down.

This was Oakland and then on 3rd & 2 we ran again and were stopped.  An easy play action was the call on that play.  The good news was Oakland was inept and the Bills up 13 (not 3 or 6)......
