Yes, Cousins is a large part of that.

He plays QB very very well. That's the part that he plays. And that's a good thing, a very good thing indeed.

66% completions with a freaking 8.1 YPA. That's terrific. 19 TDs and 6 INTs. A QB Rating of 101.1.

PPG is simply not a good way to rate QBs. Teams with maybe 70 - 80% a reflection of the offense, yes. QBs, no. Their run game is awful, averaging 3.9 YPC. That's not on Cousins. Their pass game DVOA is 27% better than the average and the rush game is 13% worse. So when the offense comes out only 5% better, it isn't rocket science to know that is not on Cousins.

Teams scheme to stop Cousins. They scheme to make Tyrod play quarterback. That's the difference.

And again, winning is simply NOT a QB stat. It just isn't. It's a team stat. Until you get that, you're missing the point. Even the name of that stat is actually "TEAM record in games started by this QB (Regular Season)."

Except the most important person on the offense by far is the QB...and again. There is a reason why Kirk Cousins and Phillip Rivers don't win many football games.  They don't make plays when it counts.

Thats all great.  The Bills are averaging 4.0 yards per carry this year.  So what?

Once again...go ask any Redskins fan what they think about Cousins and you'll be surprised what you hear most likely.  They feel the same about Cousins as we do about Tyrod...he is gonna get you to 7-9 to 9-7 and that's about it.

My smart money is currently on Cousins about turning and signing in Washington.  If he doesn't I believe it is because San Fran are still interested.

I think Eli will end up in Jax.

Alex Smith and Tyrod both on the open market would be interesting.

The Bills need to draft a QB early, period end of story.  We’ve lived for nearly two decades on other’s cast offs, retreads and gimmicks.  Yes, there have also been draft picks but this is the most proven long-term path.

According to Adam schfler we have the inside track to Kirk cousins which would be outstanding

Where did you see this?

I'll be the voice in the wilderness here and say mccarron.  He won't be super expensive, and I think he has a lot of untapped skill.  He also has fire in the belly, which we havent seen in a Bills QB in a loooooong time

There will be plenty veteran QB options this offseason. I imagine the Bills will go hard for either Manning, Alex Smith, or Bradford. If they all decline, or sign elsewhere then we will settle with Derek Anderson.
