Elite Poster Posted November 29, 2017 Posted November 29, 2017 Why isn't everyone complaining about how injury prone these guys are? Is that not the message board schtick anymore?

baskingridgebillsfan Posted November 29, 2017 Posted November 29, 2017 I think the three of them together would be nice but unless his market collapses there is zero chance he is back

I think between KB and Zay, you have two solid starters. You can't allocate much more money, especially if your offense is "balanced" or "run-oriented." Two solid starters require four good legs. Not sure we're there.

jr1 Posted November 29, 2017 Posted November 29, 2017 I see Benjamin having chronic problems like Derrick Rose going forward
CSBill Posted November 29, 2017 Posted November 29, 2017 I like Matthews and would like to see him stay, BUT, what is needed more is a real deep threat-- a free agent or through the draft.
JinxedBill1 Posted November 29, 2017 Posted November 29, 2017 I think if we had a offense and a QB that threw to our WRs you'll want to keep Matthews more. Dude can play and is reliable when targeted. I'd like to keep him but I see them moving forward with KB and Jones. Need a speed guy for the outside tho. Can DT be that guy? Maybe.
nucci Posted November 29, 2017 Posted November 29, 2017 He's not having a great season because he rarely plays
The Now Moment Posted November 29, 2017 Posted November 29, 2017 Zay Jones looks like he will develop into a really solid option to me. That is, if he has a QB that can hit his timing routes. Benjamin will have less yards but important ones as he can be a red zone monster. Add a speedster that can stretch the field to that and I think the position would be set. This regime completely redid that position in one offseason...same with the secondary. Wonder what groups they will focus on next?
ndirish1978 Posted November 29, 2017 Posted November 29, 2017 He'll be here if he's willing to take < 6M/season. If he's not, he won't. He's probably gone
SoTier Posted November 29, 2017 Posted November 29, 2017 Matthews is what he was in Philly: a JAG. Besides, with Benjamin, Jones, and Thompson, they've got at least 1 more NFL caliber WR than they had in September, so be happy.
26CornerBlitz Posted November 29, 2017 Posted November 29, 2017 Deep threat? Nope. Better than SWAT? Nope. A Buffalo Bill WR in '18? Nope.
SaviorPeterman Posted November 29, 2017 Posted November 29, 2017 I don't think Matthews fits into the future plans here especially since we have similar and better players in Zay Jones and Benjamin. And while I like what Deonte Thompson has done, this team still needs to find a true burner and deep threat and I expect that to happen via FA or the draft.
