TheFunPolice Posted November 29, 2017 Posted November 29, 2017 Giants fan base is on fire... I think they underestimated the blowback No way Reese and McAdoo survive this unless the owners just want to be proven right
Buffalo Barbarian Posted November 29, 2017 Posted November 29, 2017 (edited) Mike Schopp says Eli is being benched because of his skin color as he is the whitest QB in the League. 13 hours ago, SaviorPeterman said: My only guess is the Giants want to see if Geno Smith looks different than he did with the Jets but no way they are passing up on a guy like Rosen or Darnold in the draft. Just like we tried to see if tt was different this year. Edited November 29, 2017 by Buffalo Barbarian
Foxx Posted November 29, 2017 Posted November 29, 2017 where are the Giants playing this weekend? for McAdoo's sake, it had better be on the road.
GunnerBill Posted November 29, 2017 Posted November 29, 2017 Geno, EJ and Glennon...... still wrecking NFL Dreams in 2017.
aristocrat Posted November 29, 2017 Posted November 29, 2017 well giants want to lock up the 2 spot in the league if they can. this is a tank move
Charlottebillsfan2 Posted November 29, 2017 Posted November 29, 2017 How does McAdoo still have a job?

I would not give up more than a 2nd for Eli personally and playing Geno first over Davis Webb is a dumb move. Davis Webb was my favorite qb prospect the year he was drafted.. I think he has solid potential.. way more than Geno I was a Webb fan too. He looked like a guy with legit pro potential while at Cal.
Homey D. Clown Posted November 29, 2017 Posted November 29, 2017 I can't believe Geno is still on a roster, that's what is more shocking.
ALF Posted November 29, 2017 Posted November 29, 2017 If Eli is released Saint Doug might be interested. 1
26CornerBlitz Posted November 29, 2017 Author Posted November 29, 2017 Rex Ryan on Eli benching: 'I don't understand it' Quote Count former Jets coach Rex Ryan among those perplexed by Tuesday's announcement that Giants quarterback Eli Manning would be benched in favor of Geno Smith.

dave mcbride Posted November 29, 2017 Posted November 29, 2017 Call me crazy, but how is this not a good decision? What is the controversy? The 2-9 Giants, unlike the Bills, are completely out of it and in prime position to get a franchise qb in what I think is a great qb draft. Rallying around the flag late in the season with Eli and ending up 5-11 / 6-10 would be very bad for them. At this point, bottom out and put yourself in a position to trade up from the 2/3 slot to wherever it is you want to be (assuming you want to move up). That's how they got Eli in the first place, after all. Probably not the place for this, but I think Sam Darnold is the most talented thrower in this draft and will become elite as he matures. He has it all, and I think people should look beyond the rough edges.
26CornerBlitz Posted November 29, 2017 Author Posted November 29, 2017 Ownership encouraged and blessed the benching. McAdoo takes the heat.
26CornerBlitz Posted November 29, 2017 Author Posted November 29, 2017 The shy Rivers as usual must be coaxed into giving his take.
