87168 Posted November 27, 2017 Posted November 27, 2017 (edited) hm, well KC lost 5 of their last 6, and Mahomes was a first round draft pick (10th overall). there's quite a difference. ...and still it's not a great decision. KC had two players going for the same pass. they have bigger problems. Edited November 27, 2017 by 87168

The Now Moment Posted November 27, 2017 Posted November 27, 2017 Everyone looks at how it goes poorly but what about when it goes well? Watson was thrust into the starting lineup and Houston got 10x better. Obviously they didn't have much at QB before that but still he played a lot better and that team took off for a few games before he got hurt. We only look at it resulting as a negative thing but there are examples of where it goes well too. I recall a Kaepernick replacing Smith in the playoffs for a San Fran team that ended up in the super bowl. The change injected some life into an offense that wasn't fulfilling there potential at the time. Just saying, there are instances where it works out for the better.

KC has lost 5 of 6 with Smith struggling and a #1 selected with the idea he was going to succeed Smith and played very very well in the pre-season. DING DING DING! now lets all move along. nothing to see here.
