Not at all like some family photo, with guys trying to remember what to do, and thinking "we are just so funny". That looked like a personal little celebration between teammates, not a big display for the cameras. Even more egregious!
OldTimeAFLGuy Posted November 27, 2017 Posted November 27, 2017 ....always though it was White Shoes Johnson back in '84, but a more astute TBD historian corrected me but I can't remember who it was or who preceded Billy........anybody?....

Pine Barrens Mafia Posted November 28, 2017 Posted November 28, 2017 T.O. was the MASTER of the end zone celebration. And none of his were like these...whatever they are.
EasternOHBillsFan Posted November 28, 2017 Posted November 28, 2017 The best end zone celebration by far was the Eagles's Electric Slide and using the football as a winding movie camera!! I love these celebrations... it makes me forget the season of BS and how fun it all can be again.
T-Bomb Posted November 28, 2017 Posted November 28, 2017 (edited) So the intro to tonight's game, the rookie RB is telling us how even before the play what he was thinking about most was his TD celebration, and that he didn't want to screw it up. Yeah, that's what he should have been concentrating on... GIVE ME A BREAK! And yes, I know this was an anti-bullying fluff piece, but this is why the game is ****. The whole premise is ****. SlimShady'sSpaceForce Posted November 28, 2017 Posted November 28, 2017 Handing the ball to the ref says more.

One can only hope...lol jk But in all seriousness, it’s embarrassing how corny they are... and to think that the players actually take time during the week to choreograph these grade school celebrations is beyond comical imo.

KD in CA Posted November 28, 2017 Posted November 28, 2017 Given all the bad PR the last two years and the knowledge this stuff bugs a lot of people, it sure seems like an odd time for the NFL to give carte blanche to this kind of silliness.

Maybe. Seems like the old folks are the ones that don't like it and the young folks do, which may be their plan.

Replays going to commercials. Including them in highlight reel. Try to keep the kids attention. Make it cooler and more fun and more hip or so the NFL hopes they think. I just don't pay attention to it. It's dumb, but inevitable.

Of all the things in the world to complain of, this is right up with critique of the shoes Melania Trump wore when getting off the plane in flood-ravaged Houston.

I always thought the NFL was being petty but these guys look like idiots with the choreographed and yet incredibly weak celebrations. Awful. 1

It won't last, because it will have to escalate to remain interesting to the numbskulls that look forward to it, and that will backfire. Edited November 28, 2017 by OJABBA 1
