if you'd like to know who I "serve", I suggest visiting doublehranch.org. that's whom I "serve". a camp for kids with chronic and terminal illnesses, founded by Paul Newman, who I had the pleasure of meeting at a young age. 100% of the proceeds from ALL Newman products fund his organization of camps.

I love these celebrations... it makes me forget the season of BS and how fun it all can be again.

Given all the bad PR the last two years and the knowledge this stuff bugs a lot of people, it sure seems like an odd time for the NFL to give carte blanche to this kind of silliness.

This is absolutely thier plan.  They're pumping this stuff. Slow motion highlights. Replays going to commercials.  Including them in highlight reel.

 

Try to keep the kids attention. Make it cooler and more fun and more hip or so the NFL hopes they think.

 

I just don't pay attention to it. It's dumb, but inevitable.

I always thought the NFL was being petty but these guys look like idiots with the choreographed and yet incredibly weak celebrations. Awful.

I agree, it's supposed to make people forget the protests, and feel like wackiness is the true spirit of the NFL. It won't last, because it will have to escalate to remain interesting to the numbskulls that look forward to it, and that will backfire.
