BmarvB
This was a badly needed win for our boys.Nice to still be in playoff position going into December 1) Right off the bat, What the was that ref puffing on when he made that horrendous call on Gaines late in the 4th? Was he trying to give the Chiefs the game? 2) Glad to see the Defense get things turned around. They made the plays when they needed to make them. White's game ending INT was huge. Finally some pressure on the QB. 3) Yarborough, Milano, and Cadet should get more playing time. 4) Offense still lacking the ability to put teams away. They should have finished them off late in the third quarter, but they couldn't move the ball. Too many checkdowns and questionable play calls, not enough shots taken downfield. That not going to be anywhere near good enough next week against the Patriots. 5) This team has proven itself to be capable of winning the close low scoring games. Next week won't be that kind of game. They'll have to put up a lot of points to win next week 6) Running game is still a concern, maybe it's Dennison's blocking scheme. What do you think? 7) Here's where loyalty has to take a back seat to reality. This punchless offense can't keep pace with New England.Tthat's going to put a lot of stress on the defense. Frazier figured it out and got the defense back on track this week. Dennison really hasn't yet. The pressure will be on him to get the offense going like it needs to be, and also on TT to make plays downfield. Capt Checkdown 2.0 won't be good enough next week. Anything less than 30 points will be a loss, 20 or less will get us blown out again. Have faith anyway guys GO BILLS!!!!
JinxedBill1
#4 is the biggest concern for me. You can't beat the pats, let alone other teams, ny just playing it safe always. Close set the game out in our hands, not theirs.
Tatonka68
The Chiefs just sucked 6 points more then the Bills. Bills didn't win, Chiefs just loss. Expect your typical NE massacre next week.
Fadingpain
This win is consistent with the other wins we have had this year. The opponent played a huge role in it. We caught a team in a downward spiral that is playing really bad ball right now.

Stop the run. Force throws. Make short tackles. Big concern for next week: TB>Smith That type of gameplan against NE will result in 400 yds passing and 5 touchdowns. The Bills defense pressurized Alex Smith most of the game, not just the last drive. For a change the DL came to play both rushing the passer and stopping the run. It was great to see that for a change. Our LBs are still our weakest link, but Alex Smith did not get a chance to expose them today. Regarding our putrid offense, credit must be given to the Chiefs defense too. They have a fantastic front seven and they were all over the place. In fact kudos to McCoy and Cadet for running the football despite the difficulty. Your #5 is telling. This team can compete with teams that are low scoring, but can't get into a shoot out as evidenced the past three weeks. Can the defense hold Brady and the Patriots and protect their home turf. It is time.

I agree, but that is part of the QBs job in an NFL these days. TT just has a unique ability. Other guys accomplish with a quick release or slight movement in the pocket. Roethlisberger just stands there like a statue and guys bounce off!
Happy
Dennison's blocking scheme, as well as offense in general, is the problem. The drop in production from last year in both Tyrod and Shady are concerning and noticeable; substitute Miller for Ducasse and the offensive line is the same. Yet, Dennison still seems to not acknowledge that allowing Tyrod to run play action and the OLine to man block, rather than zone block, would allow for greater production in both the passing and running game. He stubbornly won't cater his system for the personnel he has now. I have to question just how much hands on experience Dennison has architecting an offense and calling plays; it appears Kubiak and Mike Shanahan were the ones behind the past success this offensive scheme may have seen. sherpa
I was completely amazed at how horrible Alex Smith was. Not seeing open guys, and there were plenty. Missing open guys. Checking down way too early. Reacting to minor pressure far too early. Horrible decisions on who to throw to. I thought the guy was atrocious. RiotAct
As to your point #7... we’ll see! On paper we should get beaten soundly, but that’s why they play the games.
Kelly the Dog
The difference in the defense was two-fold. 1) The DL did not get blown off the ball at the LOS and stopped the run on first down, plus most of the other downs. 2) The Chiefs don't have a ton of talent at WR outside of Hill's speed. Tre and Gaines did well so when we blitzed, which was often, Smith couldn't find wide open guys like Rivers did last week. And for some reason they ignored Kelce. Yes, Yes, Yes! 4. I think they'd have more ability with KB in the lineup. When you can back up and hit a slant pretty consistently, then teams have to make adjustments. I think they'll get there soon. Clay made some good plays today. 5. Hopefully we can get healthy and get going better on offense. 6. Gotta agree. Dennison and his run game coordinator need to step up! 7. Gotta agree that next Sunday doesn't look too promising. AND GO BILLS!!!! 5 minutes ago, Tatonka68 said: It would be the right thing to do.
