Roch Jim Posted November 27, 2017 Posted November 27, 2017 Not mentioned at all was the solid contributions of special teams today. Haus-money was his usual reliable self on FGs, and put his kickoffs deep. (If he doesn't hit that 56 yarder, the end game looks very different.) Punt coverage was outstanding, and Schmidty's directional punting late was effective. Brandon routinely got 10-15 yards every punt return. And finally, we stopped trying to take kickoffs out of the endzone, andf got safe starts from the 25 rather than inside our 15. I would estimate that special teams netted 90-100 yards for us in field position today on return differential. So maybe it shows that a coach (Crossman) can learn and improve when given time. 1
Kelly the Dog Posted November 27, 2017 Posted November 27, 2017 Yep. They were good all around. Lucky that Tate fell on his bonehead muff though.
CLTbills Posted November 27, 2017 Posted November 27, 2017 Played good in coverage too. Definitely glad They didn't let Tyreek Hill burn us. That dude is legit and he can definitely hurt you on returns.
Gugny Posted November 27, 2017 Posted November 27, 2017 Tate sucks. He finds ways to be tackled as quickly as possible. Zero threat.

John from Riverside Posted November 27, 2017 Posted November 27, 2017 with the exception of Tate's almost fumble....they were pretty good today
