20-18 with a defense in the mid 20's, maybe you should be happy with what ya got!

We've missed the playoffs for almost 20 years yet they can't figure out why we aren't satisfied with a 20-18 record? Are they saying barely over .500 should be good enough for the Bills?

Yeah that is what the National Media has been hinting at all season.

This is why we can't have nice things. No one will ever say Tyrod is the second coming of Jim Kelly. But the guy has been a total pro and is a great team mate. If they built a system around him, you know the way you would around a franchise QB, he would be a very serviceable QB. Then we can ride that horse until something better shows up.

Instead we're building schemes and on the field infrastructure for players we generally don't have. Right now all the coaching staffs the last few years have done is shoe horn him into systems that they're infatuated with. And dealing away some of his weapons and abandoning blocking schemes that play to his strengths. I wish we had Chan Gailey as his OC/QB coach.

Whatever you might say,  Zay Jones is not a number one receiver. He is a respectable number two. We didn't think Robert Woods was a serviceable number two, and yet a smart coach and a good QB are making him look like a perennial number one Pro Bowler.

This franchise when given the opportunity, makes more wrong calls than then right ones.

We deserve what we get.

Maybe they should look at his throw to O'Leary....He Simply Ain't Good Enough.

and Tom Brady threw an int... your point?   Every qb throws a pass that isnt 100% where it should be.

Nailed it.

The ESPN article on the same subject from a few weeks ago had a great line in there -- trying to do better than Tyrod at QB is like hitting on 17 in blackjack. Yes, you CAN do better, but you're more likely to bust.

The sensible thing to do would be to build around Taylor as you continue to draft for that jackpot QB. He's never had healthy playmakers on his side, and the handful of games when he DID have a healthy Watkins & Woods last year, his numbers were fantastic (look 'em up).

You say that as if 20-18 is some amazing feat.

Vince Young is 31-19 as a starter.
