Wow!  WSWest Class of 1986 here... We sucked. I played offensive tackle.  Still remember getting smeared by Jamestown every year back in the day.

 

Also... I think we have the heart pacemaker inventor as our claim to fame too.

 

Now, undefeated for the first time ever in school history!

They have a great young team. Full of sophomores and juniors led by the SR QB

 

special season for west who is undoubtedly one of the top teams in NYS

I never understood how someone played OT, especially if the team was horrible.

 

That's dedication!!

I was a semi-serious volleyball players in high school and leaving practice and see the football team rolling in the mud and wonder why they did this.

 

Especially after daylight savings kicked in so it was almost pitch dark out there for the last weeks.

I remember my coach refused to let us skip practice after a blizzard.

 

it was pitch black and snowing. He worked for the fire department and had 3 fire trucks come to our practice field and lit it up with their overhead lights

 

one of the most amazing moments of my life
