Roundybout Posted November 24, 2017 Posted November 24, 2017 With the recent fall of the Georgia Dome, the only stadium left that the Bills lost a Super Bowl at is the Rose Bowl. XXV - Tampa Stadium - Bills 19, Giants 20 - Demolished '99 XXVI - Metrodome - Bills 24, Redskins 37 - Demolished '13 XXVII - Rose Bowl - Bills 17, Cowgirls 52 - STILL REMAINS XXVIII - Georgia Dome - Bills 13, Cowgirls 30 - Demolished '17 I believe that once all four stadiums fall, only then will the Bills reach their former glory. Sort of like destroying the One Ring. Your thoughts?

Livinginthepast Posted November 24, 2017 Posted November 24, 2017 Its pretty scary looking at those teams in sports who were "cursed" and never won a championship in decades like the Red sox, Cubs and then thinking about how close we were . Sure we can demolish the stadiums but the bitter memory will remain until we finally win one!

Utah John Posted November 24, 2017 Posted November 24, 2017 The only thing that's going to work is to sign Doug Flutie. That's the only way the curse gets lifted.
Call_Of_Ktulu Posted November 24, 2017 Posted November 24, 2017 I have always felt putting Scott Norwood on the wall of fame would break the curse
SoCal Deek Posted November 24, 2017 Posted November 24, 2017 Or...they could just get a decent Quarterback!

OK, Bills fans have got to settle on what exactly the curse is. There were no competitors for the Cubs/Billy Goat Curse. That was it - the Billy Goat did it, no talk about alternative curses, etc., etc. The OJ Wall of Fame (added 1980) is the best story because, well, nobody else has anything like that in their rings/walls of fame, but the chronology isn't quite right. The Curse of Doug Flutie works perfectly chronology wise, but otherwise it really only resonates with Bills fans. I vote for OJ.
JMF2006 Posted November 25, 2017 Posted November 25, 2017 Isn't that rickety old Rose Bowl made of wood? Lets burn it down

Fadingpain Posted November 25, 2017 Posted November 25, 2017 We can try to somehow break the curse, or do what worked for the Red Sox and Cubs... Hire a competent FO and run the organization intelligently for a while.
Norwood for Wall of Fame Posted November 25, 2017 Posted November 25, 2017 Only one of the three demolished stadiums was built before The Ralph (Tampa Stadium opened about 5 years earlier)

A new stadium means PSL's and big increases.

ChevyVanMiller Posted November 25, 2017 Posted November 25, 2017 That settles it, the Rose Bowl must go.
