KD in CA Posted November 21, 2017 Posted November 21, 2017 Hey, I remember Stefan Charles! I always appreciated the phonetic spelling, unlike Mr. Dar-i-us.
Brianmoorman4jesus Posted November 21, 2017 Posted November 21, 2017 Need to sit these old slow guys in the front 7. Get Kyle, Alexander and Brown off of the field. Get Milano, Colman, and maybe Vallejo on it

So the Patriots are following the rule but we know what's really going on. As you and we all know it's nothing new for the Patriots to raid upcoming opponents practice squads. A practice squad player can not sign with his team's upcoming opponent, unless he does so six days before the upcoming game or 10 days if his team is currently on a bye week. https://www.bloggingtheboys.com/2017/9/1/16239986/2017-nfl-practice-squad-primer-rules-size-eligibility-salary-waiver-wire Edited November 21, 2017 by The Jokeman

I don't think all of those guys are PS eligible.

I'd have to review playing time but per same article: The league now allows four players per practice squad to have two accrued seasons, making it easier for teams to have experienced players on their practice squad. An accrued season means a player was on full pay status for six or more regular-season games on a club's active/inactive, reserved/injured or reserve/physically unable to perform lists

Not sure if that's still the case.

I think he's just in Von's offseason entourage now........he has to clean the hen-house for room and board.

Talk about not living up to a nickname....
Maynard Posted November 22, 2017 Posted November 22, 2017 Cap Capi that’s fun to say. Just call him Cappicola for short I guess.

I looked it up and he last played for....Jax Jaguars. Cut at the start of the regular season. -We send them our former all-pro "Big Stuff", and we have a chance sign their cutout bin scrap. -We ship out "Big Stuff" 'cuz we're worried he's one slip away from a year off, so we can sign Damontre Moore, who was suspended for substance abuse this season Sounds about right. 1 hour ago, BADOLBILZ said: Da Monster was supposed to follow right in the footsteps of Von Miller. We could be his 6th team in what, 4 years? Color me underenthused.

No choice but to dumpster dive at this point in the season with the hopes that they get lucky albeit unlikely.

Billzgobowlin Posted November 22, 2017 Posted November 22, 2017 Charles did look decent when he was here. My question is why are we not looking at upgrades at LB unless they aren't being announced. Marsh would be an interesting signing if we cut bait we one of our underperforming DEs

He didn't overwhelm anyone on the pass rush, but covered ground quite well and came up well in the run defense. I thought back about his time in Seattle today when I saw he was cut and decided I just liked his name really.
