if not just confined to this year

1) After the first drive for each team in the Bills 2nd game under Rex against the Pats, we moved right down the field, they went 3 and out, i actually thought "damn, i was wrong on Rex, this is the real deal" .

2) I have a ticket for $100 on the Browns to win the North this year at 25-1, cause you know process and all:lol:

I was wrong about the Jets game. I thought the bills defense was the best. I usually go to my dad's house to see the Bills games but I skipped going for the Saints game and I would have skipped the Chargers game but after the QB change I didn't wanna miss it. That leads me to the second thing I was wrong about.

Starting Nate Peterman and Tyrod being a big factor to the Bills having no passing game. If Tyrod sucks it's amazing he can do anything at all. Not bashing Nate. I didn't expect Nate to have that bad of a game. I was hoping the streaker would get out of Jail in time to save the Chargers game but I was wrong about that too, bail must of been a lot. We all should of donated.

I'm obviously not alone in being wrong about Peterman providing a 'spark', although in an odd way, he might have managed to set the fire that cremates our excuse for an O-Line - particularly on the RHS. ;)

I was wrong thinking I was wiser and the Bills wouldn't suck me in this year. Well they got me again.

I was wrong thinking Tyrod wouldn't even try to play to this offensive system because he was a stubborn jerk. Now I think he won't do it because it will end in disaster. He won't throw to where the receiver is supposed to be using "anticipation" because the receiver may or may not remember where he is supposed to go. He won't throw the jump ball counting on his receiver to go get it because Andre Reed is not on this team.

In short they put Peterman out there to run the offense their way and it was a catastrophe. Taylor's stock went up a lot with me.

I thought this years team would suck. I know sucking. I have had 20 years of sucking. So I know sucking when I see it and I was wrong. This is something beyond sucking out there and I have no idea how it can be this bad.

Without Taylor Sunday they could easily have scored 100 points on us.

I was wrong about Mike Glennon. I was also wrong when I broke out the playoff panties after the Bils quick start.

IMO you should allow all EJ supporters to confess, this will help in future discussions when we need to question their vision.

Was I wrong when I found the term “ Playoff panties” curiously arousing?

I was wrong about Peterman being so bad in his first start...but I'm still willing to give him more time and hopefully some better blocking before I decide he's "garbage". However, very wrong about how I thought the Offense would respond to Peterman's quicker decision making and giving his receivers a chance to make a play.

I did such a good job this year not getting sucked in.  Them trading Watkins helped me a lot.  However at 5-2 and getting ready to play the Jets I was fully on board the hype train.  I'm an idiot.

It's a point.  And sensible pro football folks don't start a tank after 5 wins already put them behind 15 teams for the 'draft position derby'.

Do, or Do Not, there is no Try.

Here is the rub: McD and Dennison have to be given credit for the fast start. They did something right but I think they all were  surprised by it as much as the fans.

I think this was a Tank/ rebuild from the beginning. As much as the losing would suck, it would feel a lot better being 3-7 right now and not trading away a good pick for KB on what I bet turns into a one year deal.

I was totally and absolutely wrong on the strength of our defense.  Thought they were going to be much better under the new regime.  Never ever thought they would be as terrible as they have shown in the last three games.  It makes no sense how far they have fallen.  I guess other teams have figured them out and know all of our weaknesses.

I was wrong to think that there can't possibly be that many people stupid enough to think they can assess a rookie QB based on his first 30 minutes of meaningful football - yet most of those same people think that, after 6 years in the league and 40 starts for the Bills, that the jury is still out on Tyrod Taylor's ability to be a decent NFL starter.

We have a winner!

I'm quite open OTR as not watching college football enough to evaluate, which is why you never see me posting in the pre-draft "who we want?" threads.

I read all the pre-draft stuff about him being raw and needing development.  Maybe he was un-developable, I don't know.  But I do know 1) the Bills, having traded down and drafted him in the first as a known "has the physical profile, ? on the skills" QB, didn't "do the experiment" to try to develop him anything close to properly 2) he ain't the worst. Case rested, and happy to be judged for those opinions.

I don't watch much college football anymore outside of ND.  Usually the best source of info are the guys who follow a specific team and IIRC, the couple FSU guys on this board warned everyone that EJ was unlikely to be a successful pro.

I was wrong to think that the TNF game was an anomaly. Apparently, it was the start of a pattern.

So you're saying they meant to tank all along, they're just incompetent even at tanking?

You're da*n straight pick for KB makes zippo sense if that was their plan.  You're tanking and you trade for 1.5 years?

Personally I don't believe it.  I think they meant to win as much as they could, underestimated the potential impact of trading Dareus on the D, and overestimated the potential benefit of acquiring Benjamin mid-season.
