Hebert19 Posted November 20, 2017 Posted November 20, 2017 Anyone else think this guys needs to sit down? I mean I love the guy but the middle of the field for both passing short and running the ball has been a joke for us the last 2 weeks and all I see is him 1 step late on every play.
Mango Posted November 20, 2017 Posted November 20, 2017 The entire LB Corp was picked on yesterday. Humber seemed to also have a particularly tough day.
Madd Charlie Posted November 20, 2017 Posted November 20, 2017 12.5 sacks mostly rushing the passer in 2016 Bills near the bottom of the league in sacks this year and have one legit pass rusher in 55 (at most) McDermott: hey you know what would be cool? Lets put Alexander in coverage 80% of the time Everyone: Why? McDermott : something, something, something process The end 1
HappyDays Posted November 20, 2017 Posted November 20, 2017 We need to take at least 2 LBs with our first 5 picks. I would be shocked if our 1st pick (other than QB) isn’t a front 7 player.
Mat68 Posted November 20, 2017 Posted November 20, 2017 He is fine setting an edge but cant cover or run sideline to sideline. LB is a massive need. Brown is ok he is who he is. Really do not understand why Milano has not replaced Humber or alexander at this pint.
Madd Charlie Posted November 20, 2017 Posted November 20, 2017 BTW I wonder how Gerald Hodges is doing these days?
klos63 Posted November 20, 2017 Posted November 20, 2017 he's 34 , very few linebackers are playing effectively, if at all , at that age. He's had 1 year in his career where he was a pass rush threat. To think he would be as effective this year was wishful thinking and poor judgement.
CLTbills Posted November 20, 2017 Posted November 20, 2017 The bigger one for me is why Milano is not starting over Humber. Humber hasn't done a thing since he returned from injury. Definite decrease in production from Milano to Humber
Jamie Muellers Ghost Posted November 20, 2017 Posted November 20, 2017 (edited) I heard a Bills player (maybe Wood) this week mention that were going to see who the true leaders are on this team wit there performance on the filed, I wonder if it was reference to Lorax. Milano did play more snaps yesterday, he looked lost as well. Edited November 20, 2017 by Jamie Muellers Ghost

Yes, in hindsight he simply got lucky with all the sacks last year but wasn't really any good either against the run. The reality is this entire front seven is trash and it's sad watching KW out there too because he's beyond finished.
YoloinOhio Posted November 20, 2017 Posted November 20, 2017 I really think he’s playing out of position 1

All 3 starting Lbs are awful. We need so many players I don't know where to start. It is like we're an expansion team.
34-78-83 Posted November 20, 2017 Posted November 20, 2017 He should be on the field with his hand on the ground on 2nd and 3rd and long, and a LB on goal line D, and on the bench for the rest (other than special teams).
Manther Posted November 20, 2017 Posted November 20, 2017 2 minutes ago, YoloinOhio said: I really think he’s playing out of position I do too. But, who else do you play. He is a pass rusher in a 3-4. A lifetime STer. We need sooo many new starters. This is not a one year fix. This is not a two year fix. Milano MAY be the only LBer that does not need replaced. Which is similar to the quality starters we have at most positions. Sad face on another sad Monday.
Hebert19 Posted November 20, 2017 Author Posted November 20, 2017 Agree with all of the above. Milano>humber although that's not saying much. Maybe we put Brown with humber and milano just to see if it helps us from getting killed.

Not sure I should be trusting your judgment too much now for a few diff reasons

billsfan_34 Posted November 20, 2017 Posted November 20, 2017 Not sit, CUT. I have been saying this all year. He is slow, cant cover, doesnt tackle well and just isnt a good LB.
Boatdrinks Posted November 20, 2017 Posted November 20, 2017 The Bills LBs are bad, among the worst starting LB corps in the league. LA s great season last year is the outlier in his career and he was pretty much a pass rusher. He can't play the game they are asking him to right now, and it was suspect thinking to believe he could.
