Dorkington Posted November 20, 2017 Posted November 20, 2017 Tolbert is going to be RB1 next week after McD benches Shady.
JPP Posted November 20, 2017 Posted November 20, 2017 yeah right sure,,,,,,this coaching staff is so clueless they will put him right back in where he left off once healthy again.....count on that
wppete Posted November 20, 2017 Posted November 20, 2017 Cadet looked good today. Was shifty, fast and ran hard. He needs more touches. Tolbert only on short yardage or healthy scratch.
CLTbills Posted November 20, 2017 Posted November 20, 2017 An ACTUAL complement to Shady. Tolbert needs to go.

YoloinOhio Posted November 26, 2017 Author Posted November 26, 2017 I think he’s earned the spot for Tolbert at this point. He can actually spell Shady without us just giving up downs. 2

1st Ammendment NoMas Posted November 26, 2017 Posted November 26, 2017 no more Tolbert, please. Cadet wins it. 1

If anyone thinks McDermott won’t put Colbert right back in there, they are kidding themselves. I like Cadet. A lot. He does things even Shady doesn’t, he will just put his shoulders down and take the 2-3 yard gain. He doesn’t dance like Shady. He needs to stay as #2 but this idiot coaching staff will outsmart themselves. Count on it. 1
Kelly the Dog Posted November 26, 2017 Posted November 26, 2017 But Tolbert is the perfect complement to Shady. Shady is fast and Tolbert is slow. Shady makes all kinds of cuts, Tolbert makes none. Shady is a threat to go all the way at any time, Tolbert is a threat to go a quarter of the way, an eighth of the time. Shady makes defenders miss, Tolbert makes defenders hit. Teams have trouble preparing for both kinds of runners. 1 1

CLTbills Posted November 26, 2017 Posted November 26, 2017 Absodamnlutely. Cut Tolbert. Cadet looks like an actual NFL running back
PromoTheRobot Posted November 26, 2017 Posted November 26, 2017 I think Cadet showed more burst than Shady. Any time I see him stutter step behind the line I know it's a loss, and it's been happening too often lately. Would not shock me if we say buh-bye to McCoy next year.

Paul Costa Posted November 27, 2017 Posted November 27, 2017 Cadet looks like a solid pickup. Good backup and nice pass catcher out of the backfield. Runs hard too.
