Which is why you have to seriously question the McD hire since he's another alleged 'defensive genius'. Sure this team is lacking talent just about everywhere on defense but you have to figure he would have at least been able to sustain certain areas of this unit like we saw the first 5 weeks. Still hard to fathom that in just 3 years a top 5 defense under St. Doug and Jim Schartz would hit rock bottom.
