st pete gogolak Posted November 20, 2017 Posted November 20, 2017 What if anything will make you reconsider staying a loyal Buffalo Bill fan come opening day of the 2018 season? For me it will be seeing Jordan Mills starting at right tackle.
oldmanfan Posted November 20, 2017 Posted November 20, 2017 Nothing would make me reconsider. Some folks here need to grow a pair. I remember years like from 1969-712. Or say 83-85. Years when you knew the team had little chance of winning. I've been a fan since opening day 1960. Today was depressing, as was last week. But that doesn't mean you should bail out.
The Crowing Rooster Posted November 20, 2017 Posted November 20, 2017 I will never stop being a Bills fan. You take the good with the bad even when it gets really bad like right now. I'm 52 and been a fan since I was like 5 and have seen some highs and lows. So it would be very hard for me to just stop being a fan because they are an important part of my life.
Dablitzkrieg Posted November 20, 2017 Posted November 20, 2017 Nothing. It is an endless cycle of anger and despair. Come Thursday-Saturday, I always convince myself it will be different. It is the EXACT definition of insanity. 1
Agent 91 Posted November 20, 2017 Posted November 20, 2017 The only thing I will consider is switching to a stronger liquor. Nothing will make me reconsider fandom
Pine Barrens Mafia Posted November 20, 2017 Posted November 20, 2017 If any combination or part of Taylor/Castillo/Dennison/Ducasse/Mills return next year, it's gonna be REAL hard to justify putting any effort into cheering this team on.
aceman_16 Posted November 20, 2017 Posted November 20, 2017 IF we didnt draft a QB in the first or second round. 1
billsfan714 Posted November 20, 2017 Posted November 20, 2017 If we trade a bunch of picks to move up in the draft, ala Whaley. Way too many holes on this team to think one pick will solve this.

Think about this for a moment. Since this drought started, the Bills have passed on the likes of: Roethlisberger Rodgers Wilson Wentz in favor of DTs, DBs, RBs, OLs, and what not. YOU MUST FIX THE QB POSITION FIRST.
Doc Brown Posted November 20, 2017 Posted November 20, 2017 Nothing. I've been talked into Losman, Edwards, Fitzpatrick, Manuel, Orton, Taylor, and Peterman. I even thought Brohm and Tuel had potential. 1

I’ll never stop being a fan but I have stopped financially supporting the mess we see. 52 minutes ago, billsfan714 said: If we trade a bunch of picks to move up in the draft, ala Whaley. This drought isn’t all because we haven’t had a legitimate QB......but pretty damned near that reason.

I won't stop cheering. These 5 not returning would be great. Even 4 of 5 not returning would be good.
Buffalo_Stampede Posted November 20, 2017 Posted November 20, 2017 I'm forever loyal. They just won't have my money anymore.

After this season there will be grown men and women who have not had a Bills playoff appearance occur in their lifetimes, and the Bills are no closer to achieving a playoff appearance than they have been in at least 15 of those seasons. "Growing a pair" is insufficient. Edited November 20, 2017 by Avisan
