Benjamin, Matthews and Gaines were acquired in trades. Were they damaged goods? Were they ever vetted medically?

Was it a coincidence all three had physical problems before they were traded? You have to wonder why the

Panthers rid themselves of Benjamin and why they even let Beane and McDermott go.

Sammy Watkins - Coach altered offense scheme to get him the ball more and get him more involved. BTW, has not missed a game yet.

Marcell Dareus - Immediately being used as a pass rushing DT because of his elite speed at his size - not just being used to plug holes.

Stephon Gilmore - Was struggling and the defensive staff changed the scheme to help the DBs become more comfortable with the plays.

Bills - bench starting QB because he doesn't fit scheme, trade good DT to save a few bucks, trade Sammy for an injured player, and add KB who has an injury history and was a poor fit for our QB.

I don't understand how you think that Matthews breaking a thumb after catching a ball awkwardly or Benjamin getting injured by taking a helmet to the knee has anything to do with the medical staff being duped.

Benjamin took a helmet to the knee.  Dumb to include him.  And Darby?  Are you serious?  He's played in one game so far and the Bills got a 3rd rounder.  As for Gaines for Watkins, sure Gaines has been injury-prone but Sammy has done little with the Rams and the Bills got a 2nd rounder.  And he'll almost assuredly be with another team next year.  The only trade that I still say wasn't a good one was Dareus for a 6th (possibly a 5th).

Benjamin had a injury history before he got here and was injured the day he got here.

The first game he really got supposedly 100% he is injured again. Don't you think

Caralina thought he was damaged. This is a organization that thought Sammy

couldn't play. Who has more TDs this year.

Lot of the injury stuff in coincidence and bad luck, not on the medical staff.

Watkins would be gone anyway.

I think he Dareus trade is the only one that is troublesome ... he must have been a big distraction.

The Bills needed bodies to fill holes, so they took what they could get, especially since they didn't want to pay too much for them.  Except for Benjamin, I don't think the other two had much, if any, recent injury history.   Players get hurt, especially DBs and WRs since they tend to be somewhat smaller than many of the guys hitting them.

If the Bills got duped, it's because they essentially swapped their late mode well equipped Subarus and Toyotas for older model stripped down Fords and Dodges simply because they were cheaper.

I'd have put up with him as long as he stayed out of legal trouble.  Then looked to trade/cut him after the season was over.

Watkins would have been here this year, and he never said he wouldn't have re-signed with the Bills.  He's a WR drafted high in the draft ... they are ALL prima donnas, and they complain all the time.  It's more than likely that the Bills weren't interested in re-signing him at the market rate for WRs.

And Dareus wasn't a distraction.  There was never any whisper about him causing any kind of trouble in the locker room.  Somebody on the Bills wanted him gone, and since the Bills had been trying to peddle him even before OTAs, I doubt it had anything at all to do with whether he "bought in" to McDermott's system.  My guess is that Dareus realized that he wasn't wanted on the Bills, and that affected his attitude or his work ethic.  Obviously, he feels wanted in Jacksonville.

All are having problems.

While our former players have been looking great? Don't they?

Sammy hasn't been all that great. Let's be fair.

Definitely duped.  Also funny to see Darby play zone coverage tonight, already has an interception, and yet he didn't fit this scheme.  Once again, the Bills scheme is too good for a player like Darby, who needs talent when you have schemes.

The more i think about these moves the more pissed I start to get.

These guys seriously don't know what the hell they're doing.

I swear this organization never hires the right freaking guys for the job. Grrrrr

Pay attention. We are building a team, not acquiring talent. Or something like that?
