I was talking about Klos, not you ;)

Well, since I wasn't talking to you, not sure why you are replying to me.

Poor Dolphin game attendance demonstrates that University of Miami football is the #1 interest in Miami.

University of Miami had a sellout home game yesterday. The Hurricanes beat Virginia, 44 to 28 at Hard Rock Stadium. It was a raucous crowd.

NFL has some serious image problems to repair.

Miami Hurricanes fans are the biggest bandwagon fans ever. Their crowds are usually 1/4 full unless they're ranked in the top 10 or playing a huge game.

Not surprising , I looked  at a FLL webcam this AM and the water looked calm. I'd be at the beach if I was in MIA/FLL . Tough place to sell tickets for afternoon football games

I live in FLL and it's real nice out for sure, but if they win, people will show up. Actually, winning is less important than being interesting down here. Look at what's happening with the Hurricanes...same stadium and it's rocking every weekend.

That must explain why I have had UM season tickets for years. Hmmm.

I also have Buffalo Bills season tickets and could not go to the home opener against the Jets.  I could not sell my seats on the 45 yard line in the lower bowl for face value to the home freaking opener. I wonder what that says about us Bills fans. Maybe, just maybe, Bills fans have been as frustrated as Hurricanes fans have been for the past several years.

I was there, and it was great.

I live about 90 minutes up the coast from that stadium; it is a gorgeous 80 degree sunny day, no humidity.

Did my daily beach walk earlier and the beach is filled with hot flesh in thongs as always.

It's just not in the culture down here to lock yourself into a stadium on a weekend afternoon or in front of your TV and care about a football game.

I don't blame anyone not at that game one little bit!

Me? I'm a Buffalonian and will be locked in front of my computer, on this gorgeous day, watching the Bills!

Must be hard to give up hot flesh for the Bills :flirt:

Hey, why choose between chocolate and vanilla if you can have a scoop of each!

The late game start allowed me to get the walk in earlier, so I get to enjoy both the beach eye candy and the game!

Can't complain.

I have friends with Giant's season tix, they say the stadium is empty there too.

Next to the all the Taylor threads, there always seems to be a Miami attendance one as well. Why do so many care about the Dolphins attendance, does it make you feel better about our crappy football situation?

This is an NFL board and the NFL OBVIOUSLY has major problems.  It is a valid and pertinent thread.  There are other threads where you can be a douche and say 100% of everything is about the Bills being bad.
