TT dumping the ball off to Shady on every play for minimal yardage is reminiscent of the TE days in Buffalo...........dull, unexciting, uninspiring and we all know how that ended up for Trent. Fans pay good money to watch a decent game and dull football play from the QB position makes the game too long on a sunday afternoon recently. A lot of fane didn't care much for Fitz or Losman, but these guys had no problems heaving the skin down the field, mind you for a majority of disastrous plays, but it kept the fans on the edge of their seats and instilled a confidence between the QB and his WR's, by lobbing it up and letting the players make a play. Dumping the ball off on every play says 2 things..........1) i don't have the confidence in my guys to make a play and 2) i don't have the confidence in myself to not make mistakes. Putting a throwing QB like Peterman will probably have disastrous results, but you can't deny that the fans are looking forward to some passing plays in the near future........and in a passing league these days, i say air it out and let your teammates make some plays. That is all..........i have spoken. I am with you. Last week was terrible to watch. It looked like a highshool game when one time was 3 or 4 A and one was single A. The change has brought some excitement for the this weeks game that would not have been their if Taylor remained the starter. Sure they are in the playoffs today but everyone could see the bottom falling out. 1

Something like "National Media member X says Taylor stinks" - board reaction becomes: yeah that's right, this guy actually watches the Bills and he gets it. Or "National Media member Z says that it isn't Taylors fault, the Oline is bad and the defense is a sieve". - board reaction becomes: no way, Taylor stinks. This guy doesn't watch the Bills or have his finger on the pulse of the team. It's all Taylor's fault. Peterman for prez. Does this seem correct? Yep you hit the nail on the head. The fact no 5th round rookie has ever been given the starting job and been successful day one doesn't matter, nor making the playoffs. Hat matters is tyrod is gone. 1 2

We had a QB who refused to throw the ball down the field. Refused. I was a Tyrod supporter too. We lead the league in 3 and outs and take zero chances to move the sticks. The old “statistics are for losers” crowd use their cherry picked Tyrod stats to shows how he takes care of the ball. Yep. Whooptee do. We are stagnant and helping to kill our defense because we punt punt punt. It’s Peterman time. Play the game. Throw the damn ball down the field! Tyrod has one of the higher completion percentages on deep balls in the league: its one of the few areas where he is up their with the elite quarterbacks (and why a lot of analysts feel that he is underrated). Or were you not watching all his pretty bombs to Sammy, Clay, ect. If a guy is open deep, and he sees it, he's one of the best. Peterman is more of a short/intermediate dink and dunk get the ball out fast style thrower. While I'm not accusing you of being racist, alot of people feel that black quarterbacks who can run don't get enough credit for their ability to throw down the field because people assume that they can't. Dude throws the ball down the field to the outside well, but he doesn't hit short or intermediate throws nearly as often. So if you think Peterman will hit more deep balls, your sadly mistaken. Maine-iac Posted November 19, 2017 Posted November 19, 2017 (edited) What 90 percent of the posters in this thread are missing and that those analysts weren't is why Tyrod didn't throw deep last week on a 3rd and long. We run for negative yards, we get penalized we end up in 3rd and 15. We run a play where only two people even run routes past the sticks and the defense is in cover 3 and every airmchair QB in Buffalo groans and shakes their first in the air. The real story is that with a good running game, something Dennson appears incapable of designing, Taylor took a lot of shots down field and did very well at it. When called on 2nd and 5 or 3rd and 3, deep shots are effective. If you have a per carry average of 1.7 and your QB is throwing on 3rd and 15 and not getting it your team shouldn't be in that position in the first place. Edited November 19, 2017 by Maine-iac 1

bobblehead Posted November 19, 2017 Posted November 19, 2017 Well regardless of what’s being said about Tyrod and whatever, I’m really impressed by Randy Moss on the network.

Until two weeks ago, nobody would spend any time talking about the Bills. THEN, because we looked hot to go 6-2, they all started crowing about Taylor as if they all thought he was GREAT. NOW they have egg on their faces. This is more about THEM than it is the Bills. Even more sad, and even more true.

All you do is cry about how PC everything is (things should just stay like they were in the 50s) and all you do is race bait. I wanted the Bills to move on in the offseason from Tyrod. But if you don't think a team in the 6 seed of the playoffs benching their qb for a 5th round rookie isn't a big deal, regardless of race, you're a moron. And ma when did this board become overrun with 12 year olds? Sick Anal joke bro. 24 minutes ago, Real McCoy said: The more we ignore ESPN the faster they will just go away. 2003Contenders Posted November 19, 2017 Posted November 19, 2017 I am not sure why any Bills fan would even worry about what these national media talking-heads have to say about the Bills. They know less about our team than most of us.
