Big Turk Posted November 15, 2017 Posted November 15, 2017 Gives us a good chance to really be able to move the ball well on offense...typically young QB's will do pretty well for about 4 weeks before they have enough on film that DC's can effectively gameplan specfically for him...Wentz looked great for first 4 weeks his rookie year and then the bottom fell out. Gives us a good shot to do some damage on offense...
Chris66 Posted November 15, 2017 Posted November 15, 2017 No you have maybe 2. System is already in place. Unless Dennison redoes the playbook. New qb doesnt change the concepts.

zow2 Posted November 15, 2017 Posted November 15, 2017 BUT, if Peterman has a special quality to him, they won't be able to shut him down entirely. He will still be effective even after DC's get film on him. If he turns out to be another Tom Savage...then yes, he will get shut down fairly quickly and QB1 will be drafted in April 2018.
Chris66 Posted November 15, 2017 Posted November 15, 2017 Flip side is dc's are now going to be game planning for Peterman which no one has yet. I think the playoffs are pretty much shot now.

BuffaloBillsGospel Posted November 15, 2017 Posted November 15, 2017 I'm pretty sure they just got game film on him from the last game, the Chargers will be prepared and it will be a good test for Peterman imo.

Max Fischer Posted November 15, 2017 Posted November 15, 2017 I'm not sure the onus is on the DC's to "stop" Peterman. Rather, can the OL provide three seconds of protection and will Peterman find a receiver. Look, I like Peterman but have zero expectations.

Yeah...Tyrod on AVERAGE took over 3 seconds to throw...longest time in the NFL by far
reddogblitz Posted November 15, 2017 Posted November 15, 2017 (edited) DCs know what to do. I hope Nasty Nate and the OLine are preparing for a heavy dose of blitzing this week. Nasty Nate is getting ready to see D like he's never seen before in PS and Garbage Time. Edited November 15, 2017 by reddogblitz
Norwood for Wall of Fame Posted November 15, 2017 Posted November 15, 2017 2 weeks. Then we play the Patriots.

CuddyDark Posted November 15, 2017 Posted November 15, 2017 Wrong. Teams will Blitz Peterman because he's a rookie. If he defeats that, then they have 2 weeks.

If he is accurate and quick enough he will still ge those balls in there.

ProcessTheTrust Posted November 15, 2017 Posted November 15, 2017 Let them blitz Peterman. He gets the ball out so fast, that will allow a quick read to turn into a long play. Then they have to ease up and the run game opens up.
row_33 Posted November 15, 2017 Posted November 15, 2017 anything better than losing 47-10 will be just fine as Peterman learns the ropes.
SlimShady'sSpaceForce Posted November 15, 2017 Posted November 15, 2017 Awesome. Will 2 weeks of Nate be enough for Emperor Belichick?
