apuszczalowski Posted November 14, 2017 Posted November 14, 2017 No video of Davis playing his Raiders shovel like a guitar?
White Linen Posted November 14, 2017 Posted November 14, 2017 That stadium looks absolutely incredible.
SoCal Deek Posted November 14, 2017 Posted November 14, 2017 I actually think that all of these new Stadiums are starting to look more and more alike all the time, just like they did in the 1970s.....but a whole lot more expensive now. It was nice to see Minnesota try something a bit different.
cba fan Posted November 14, 2017 Posted November 14, 2017 They can not get a Super Bowl with only 65k. It must be expandable.
Augie Posted November 14, 2017 Posted November 14, 2017 Which owner voted against the move? Ralph is gone. Also, they call it a dome, but then show a bunch of open air views. Is it retractable?

It seems like they rarely do, regardless of the weather. Just curious if anyone else has noticed this?

apuszczalowski Posted November 14, 2017 Posted November 14, 2017 It's not an NFL stadium, but the skydome/rogers centre in Toronto opens and closes the roof all the time for baseball games from may until October. Apparently the close and seal the roof for the winter between October to April I believe. MLB would jot allow them to open the roof for playoff games the last couple years

There’s only one Vegas. I went for a stroll to check the place out (and probably grab a beer?) and when I got back it was closed. It started to drizzle and the roof is pretty darn fast.

Punt75 Posted November 15, 2017 Posted November 15, 2017 The day will come when the Sabres have a Friday or Saturday game vs. the Knights and the Bills a Sunday game vs. the Raiders all in Las Vegas! What a nice vacation and so much fun!!

Hmmm...I'm guessing Spanos. 3 hours ago, QCity said: It's Vegas, the town was built for Superbowls. I'd bet that by season 3, half the seats will be comps by casinos.

First time I can ever remember a Cardinals game with the roof open. Colts are open most games early season.
thunderingsquid Posted November 15, 2017 Posted November 15, 2017 The president is a WNYer. Went to Brighton HS, he was in my graduating class. Great great guy. http://www.raiders.com/media-vault/videos/Raiders-President-Marc-Badain-At-Groundbreaking-Ceremony/2865a472-1a7a-4ff7-9c90-7cdcd323a4e4
