Preferably, 5’7ish to 5’9ish, 160 lbs - 170 who runs straight ahead with larger feet to avoid slipping on the plant foot. No more side to side.

 

Year 6) Another RB. The league will soon see RB’s as a commodity and we will have a barnfull of them. With five or six of the best RB’s in the leavue we will be able to trade out some players for a franchise QB and WR combo to have a divisional playoff game by year seven. Also, take another left tackle. We have 4 by now, but again, they are like gold bullion: a commodity better than cash. 

 

Year 7) Sit back and watch the fireworks. Playoffs again and again. 

I say go for it!  The only depressing thing is by then our drought will have a Master's degree (maybe even a P.H.D) and four years plus legally being able to drink alcohol.

It does look like a long time rebuild so far. I just hate to change the OL scheme that worked the previous 2 seasons to one that does not fit these players.

Pulling tackles with stationary guards will be the wave of the future. Need to draft 4 or 5 tackles in the next three years with 4.4 - 4.6 speed so they can pull quicker.

The only flawed logic that I see is that you should include Massachusetts in the scouting area... they are born winners up there
