CanadianFan Posted November 12, 2017 Posted November 12, 2017 Apologize now, if you didn't you know-nothing haters. Your bile makes this fandom toxic. Worse than Chernobyl. 2 1
mjd1001 Posted November 12, 2017 Posted November 12, 2017 I admit the D-line is worse, and of course has less depth without him. However, in the long run I think they are better off without him and his contract. Still happy with the move in the long run.
Real McClappy Posted November 12, 2017 Posted November 12, 2017 (edited) 2 weeks in a row Jax Run D has played great when being last in the league (Pre Dareus) giving up less than 100 total yards in 2 games combined (Post Dareus). What changed? What's funny, I was told that good DT's are not needed and that having a anchor in the middle of the D-line controlling running lane gaps was a waste of money. Beast Posted November 12, 2017 Posted November 12, 2017 (edited) Apologize because he is a lazy, fat piece of **** that is a toke away from a long term suspension? Get over yourself. Edited November 12, 2017 by Binghamton Beast

Maine-iac Posted November 12, 2017 Posted November 12, 2017 I wasn't a hater but I thought we'd be alright without him. I may have been horribly wrong as was the front office apparently. 2
row_33 Posted November 12, 2017 Posted November 12, 2017 This team finally got what they deserved he last 2 weeks

Get over yourself. I swear I saw this post verbatim with the marshawn trade. Might’ve even said it myself. Oops. 2

Worse than Chernobyl. No team would take Dareus all year. The Jags gave a throwaway pick for him. If the Bills were wrong about Dareus, so were 31 other teams. 1
Marv's Neighbor Posted November 12, 2017 Posted November 12, 2017 Are you serious? That fat as* likely would not have even played, with some assorted excuse!

Isnt that more important in a playoff fighting year over a 6th that you could have gotten in the offseason after this year anyway?
george c Posted November 12, 2017 Posted November 12, 2017 (edited) Dareus had to go.. Who to blame? Blame the prior horrible GM who gave him so much money that there was no other choice going forward, and that was Doug Whaley. Edited November 12, 2017 by George C

Again, if Dareus is such a valuable piece, why did we only get a conditional sixth from the Jags and no sniffs from any other team?
Over 29 years of fanhood Posted November 12, 2017 Posted November 12, 2017 Simply go back and watch the run defense with him and now without him. He took two run gaps away and was constantly double teamed. They are now singling on worthy or Adolphus... This inability to stop the run isn't going to go away. 3
row_33 Posted November 12, 2017 Posted November 12, 2017 Seven more drubbings to go, Pats might put up 80 if they play as hard as the Saints did alll game today 1

Adam727 Posted November 12, 2017 Posted November 12, 2017 (edited) I'd rather have a D-line that gives up less than 300/yards per game rushing than the 6th round pick and $2mil in cap savings we get next year from cutting Dareus. Even if that would've meant some sort of dead cap hit in 2019. But that's why I just watch the games and Beane gets paid the big $$ to make the games unwatchable.. Maybe he was being an idiot and dragging down the locker room. We aren't fighting for the playoffs anymore. Edited November 12, 2017 by jmc12290
