This guy has done some seriously questionable ****.

Going into the season with Mike Tolbert as the backup running back... really?? I mean WTF.

Then he trades Dareus for essentially nothing and ever since that moment the defense has looked like complete ****.

I say get Beane out of here and bring in a more competent GM going forward.

Beane just picked up Benjamin for a 3rd and 7th; ask the Panther fans who won that trade.  Not Beane's fault Benjamin wasn't utilized.

Tolbert has a place on this roster - short yardage specialist.  Not Beane's fault Tolbert is being used as a RB2.

Dareus was taking up a lot of cap space and was not a solid contributor this year.  Dareus played what, 40% of the snaps.  Doubt he would have helped today.

Beane's eyes are looking more toward the long term.

I agree why is the owner signing off on these newbies getting rid of every good player  we had.  I don’t even recognize 95% of this team

This coach was a joke when he was in Philly. They  ran him off.

He  plays a very antiquated scheme on defense.

I think there have been mistakes made.

Strikes me as though there's been an element of 'I'm the smartest guy in the room', going on, and there are lessons that need to be learned.

Trading Dareus has not proved to be a good idea. I really don't care about statistics on this one - just look at the results, and the manner in which they've happened.

Some of the other trading has been questionable, imho, although not all of them.

They have to have an especially good draft in 2018, to turn things around now.

9 games in. That's plenty of time to judge a new regime.

Clean house now while we still have a chance.

No, it isn't. It would be stupid to dump and run. You have to give these two guys a chance to build a team. Let's give them two drafts to see what hey can build. We overachieved early in the season.

Why does Beane get the benefit of the doubt?

He definately has a longer term vision for personnel and franchise building. We need to at least see what he does with all these draft picks IMO. He might be suspect until proven otherwise, but theres lower hanging fruit in the FO and on the sidelines atm

My bad. Forgot the [sarcasm][/sarcasm] format.

You have got to be kidding me.

Do some of you really still not understand why Dareus was traded? When you start your argument with "Dareus was traded for nothing" you have already proved yourself an idiot and I'm no longer listening.

so Beanes been in control for a whole 9 games,  didnt even get to draft his first draft yet,   and he needs to be fired?   really?

what questionable moves?   Sammy?   who was going to want a crap ton of money and couldnt prove he could stay healthy.

Dareus?    guy with a terrible contract that wasnt reliable?  appeared he didnt really want to be here.

gimme a break....

I don't necessarily agree with every decision Beane has made, but I don't think he should be fired.  I also think that McDermott has made some strategic errors.  I think Tolbert has some positive qualities, and I don't mind him getting some carries in certain situations, but I think McDermott should make use of the other running backs on the roster too.  Joe Banyard can do some things that Tolbert can't.  Right now Banyard happens to be the fastest RB on the Bills roster and he hasn't had a carry all season after playing well in the preseason.

Getting rid of Dareus is a questionable decision because it leaves Buffalo significantly undersized at the DT position in the present.  However, I get that Dareus was an underachiever, and the Bills may be better off in the long run spending money somewhere else versus continuing to pay Marcel's big contract.

The front office is setting up for the offseason.  They don't care what we do this year.  They want to repave the roster completely and that starts by clearing cap space and acquiring draft picks.  This offseason is a huge step in this process.  McDermott isn't playing with his type of players yet.  Firing a regime within 4 years is idiotic, everyone wants to repave the roster and get guys that fit their system.  Let it play out.  They found a couple solid players this first draft, see what they can do with a full season and if theres no progress, then you can start clamoring.
