BigDingus Posted November 12, 2017 Posted November 12, 2017 (edited) He has ONE completion to a WR, Benjamin, for the first pass of the game. From there, 6 completions to RB's, 2 to TE's, averaging 3.3 yards per completion. Yes, the defense sucks. But the offense goes 3 & out over and over and over and over again. Taylor overthrows targets that have clear separation and huge catch radius's over and over and over again. On 3rd & long, Taylor checks down and dumps off to the RB EVERY SINGLE TIME. What other "franchise" QB can't lead even ONE TD drive in the first quarter through week 10?! This offense hasn't scored a TD the entire f'n season in the 1st quarter. No franchise QB, and not even awful QB's, are that consistently bad they can't even luck out into a TD drive... Midway through the 3rd quarter, and your "franchise" QB doesn't even have 60 yards passing? He makes Trent Edwards look like Brett Favre the gun-slinger in comparison. In Bledsoe's first season, our defense wasn't stopping anything either, but we still stayed in games because the offense didn't go 3 & out repeatedly. You can have a horrible defense & still look semi-competitive in games. Taylor doesn't even have the motivation or drive to even ATTEMPT to get us out of a hole. We're 3-17 in games we're down at any point in the 4th quarter under Tyrod. He rather just get off the field on 3rd down than even risk getting a 1st down. Brees, a real franchise QB, time & time again converts on 3rd & long with ease. The WR's play for him and make fantastic catches even in coverage because they believe in him. Bills WRs are tired of getting laid out for horrible passes, and have no faith in him. This is just unacceptable in every single way. Edited November 12, 2017 by BigDingus 3 1
26CornerBlitz Posted November 12, 2017 Posted November 12, 2017 If only he could play defense by rushing the passer and shutting down the run. Shame. 1
BigDingus Posted November 12, 2017 Author Posted November 12, 2017 You're right, teams with no defense also can never score. Oh wait, they're not mutually exclusive!
Patrick Duffy Posted November 12, 2017 Posted November 12, 2017 Whole team sucks. Look like Rex Ryan's team from last year out there. I cut it off when the Saints scored after Halftime and put in Dark Tower movie to watch with the wife. Just popped in here for a second to see how pissed everyone is. Glad I didn't partake in that kool aid too early lol. Anyways, wife is back, going to see if I can at least "get" something out of this Sunday. 1
EasternOHBillsFan Posted November 12, 2017 Posted November 12, 2017 Here's a hint: THROW IT ACCURATELY TO KELVIN BENJAMIN!!!!!! MAYBE HE MIGHT MAKE... A... PLAY???
quinnearlysghost88 Posted November 12, 2017 Posted November 12, 2017 I can confidently say that Tyrod Taylor hasn't let one rush up the middle happen. Also, the line can't stop a 3-man rush. 5 minutes ago, BigDingus said: You're right, teams with no defense also can never score. Oh wait, they're not mutually exclusive! Yeah, they're about to hang 45 on us. That's unrealistic. they are mutually exclusive because they share ONE SCORE.
Hapless Bills Fan Posted November 12, 2017 Posted November 12, 2017 What ever happened to the "please don't start new threads during the game" tradition here?
BuffAlone Posted November 12, 2017 Posted November 12, 2017 As stated in the locked thread, our line is atrocious today. Period

Maybe if we broke some traditions then we might win more @#@!#! games and make the @#!@# playoffs. Don't read the threads.... you do have that choice.
quinnearlysghost88 Posted November 12, 2017 Posted November 12, 2017 233 yards of rushing and five rushing TDs let up in 3 quarters.
Bangarang Posted November 12, 2017 Posted November 12, 2017 (edited) Tolbert leads the team in receiving yards with 17. That should probably tell you everything you need to know right now. Edited November 12, 2017 by Bangarang
BuffaloFan68 Posted November 12, 2017 Posted November 12, 2017 Anyone that thinks Tyrod is a franchise QB, clearly doesn't know what a good QB looks like. The fact that this coaching staff keeps rolling Tyrod, Tolbert & Ducasse out there as starters is a clear indicator that they don't know what they're doing. JMHO At least we should get a better draft pick. 2

Also, does the defense make him throw behind the line on 3rd & long? Does the defense make him overthrow WR's? Does the defense make him dump off to RBs every pass? When over 90% of his completions are to RBs & TEs on check downs, does the defense make him do that? Does our defense make him short, leading to multiple balls batted down at the line each game? Does our defense make him stare down his primary WR the entire play? Does our defense make him lead the league in 3 & outs? Over 3 years as a starter, why does he have a 3-17 record (about to be 3-18) when we fall behind at ANY point in the 4th quarter? Does our defense make it so he can't lead even ONE 1st Quarter TD drive through 10 weeks? Watch, he'll get some garbage time stats, bump up his completion percentage a bit, maybe even get a late TD, and you guys will point to his "efficiency" from his box stats. The only reason we had ANY wins this season is BECAUSE OF THE DEFENSE gifting Tyrod & the offense a league-leading amount of turnovers. Do you even pay attention to what happens with those turnovers? Half the time, we don't even get a single first down, but due to field position we're able to kick a FG. The rest of the time, we punt, and on the rarest of rare occasion, a TD. But overall, the offense is bailed out by the defense, and even then we go 3 & out on turnovers plenty. If the defense doesn't score themselves off the turnover, or give us great starting field position, the offense does NOTHING. And here we are now, seeing what happens when the defense doesn't give the offense multiple extra chances per game, setting them up in prime field position. The offense does nothing on their own. Even when we KNOW coming into the game opposing defenses are going to stack the box, leaving receivers 1 on 1, Tyrod still goes for the dump pass, guaranteeing we'll never move the ball. 1
TigerJ Posted November 12, 2017 Posted November 12, 2017 I am generally reluctant to rush to conclusions, but I think it's time to let Peterman start.

PABillsfan23 Posted November 12, 2017 Posted November 12, 2017 It’s actually impressive that an NFL QB can be this bad. Kudos 1
