JerseyBills
I'm going beyond the X's and O's here, I just believe this team is made up of the right kind of guys , guys with alot of heart , pride and honor. They experienced their first beat down of the year , with the world watching. I personally attribute that loss to mainly playing on Thursday, but there's no excuses , it counts the same on their record. I feel this team took that beat down personally and respond in a huge way versus the red hot Saints. Being at home, getting Clay/Benjamin, possibly Gaines back helps, but either way I'm extremely confident this team responds in a big way. I expect a 10+ point victory, I believe in these coaches as well, and I just feel we will be the hungrier team that will want the W more than N.O... As for the X's and O's, I love our matchups. I view this alot like Atlanta, except I expect the run game to be much more dominant. A win will certainly get the bad taste out of our mouths after the Thursday night beat down, we defend our dirt and out play N.O imo.. By the fourth I think we'll be comfortably ahead. Thoughts? Do you guys feel we we're exposed by NYJ? I don't . Their offense in the elements, outdoors is not the same as the cozy done they are used to.
billspro
I think they will respond well too. Getting Gaines back is huge, our secondary has locked things down when he is in the lineup. Clay and Benjamin will open things up for Shady, I think he will bounce back with a big game as well. My gut is telling me the Bills will have a huge game on Sunday and have a signature win. I hope we are both right.
Thurman#1
This headline was misleading. I thought they'd put out some kind of statement. Please, in the future, make the headline clearer.
GETTOTHE50
I want to see Shady, Clay (or Holmes) Jones, Benjamin, and Matthews on the field at the same time at several points in the game this sunday.

BuffaloBillsGospel
Heart and honor are great but at some point we'll have to win on talent, is there enough on this team to make it to the playoffs? That remains to be seen.
Heavy Kevi
Fake news. Bills have made no statement, contrary to the thread title. Just another clickbait headline.
Patrick Duffy
Oh, I thought the "Bills" made a statement. It's the OP that made a statement.

I also believe Thursday was an anomaly, out of 8 games, that was the only one we got manhandled, outplayed and embarrassed. I think they truly believe in each other and their ability to beat anybody and that belief is a powerful thing. 1 hour ago, Patrick_Duffy said: Oh, I thought the "Bills" made a statement. I just think they make a statement in how they play on Sunday versus a quality opponent
Chris66
I think they will play better, but still lose. N.O. is just a better team. I dont think Thurs was a fluke. Just a typical Bills road game. I expect the same outcome at Chargers.

Whether they do that again or not shows if it is a trend. For those blaming it being on Thursday night I don't buy into that notion, the Jets had the same amount of time. They just flat out were not ready.
Marty McFly
Its a statement game after the last loss that shows us how this staff and roster react but beating the chargers is more important this year.
CLTbills
I think we respond well, but not a 10 point victory. I think we win on a late field goal.
mjt328
It wouldn't surprise me at all. I could very much see them having a big win Sunday. The Bills are coming off their worst loss of the year. The Saints are probably due for a letdown. The Bills are at home in the cold, where they seem to be playing much better. The Saints are a dome team playing out in the cold. It looks like a good combination of circumstances. The real question is whether the Bills are ready for the "long haul" and can play at a high level for the next 8 games. If they want to make the playoffs, they need to match the results from their first half. They probably need to go 5-3. Against a much tougher schedule. The Bills played exactly one team with a winning schedule (Panthers) and lost that game. They have four games against teams with winning schedules (Patriots 2x, Chiefs, Saints) in the second half. They absolutely MUST beat at least one of those teams, and then run the table against everyone else. If the Bills go 4-4 or less, they will need to get wins against the right teams and hope for lots of help elsewhere.
ddaryl
We're all looking for a team that can bounce back after such a game.. It would just be more proof that things are changing for the bills and McDermott is our guy
