I'd rather my political party raise $100,000 given by 10,000 people than $1,000,000 given by 50 (*cough* Soros *cough*). It demonstrates a more committed and passionate base. And let's be honest, money is no guarantee in politics anymore. People are numb to the commercials and push polls, etc. that it buys. Edited October 4, 2018 by Gavin in Va Beach 1

B-Man Posted October 4, 2018 Posted October 4, 2018 I think the talking point that "R's will get a sugar high from the confirmation but that will fade by midterm voting" *deeply* misunderstands what has just happened these last 3 weeks. . 2

Black favorables for President Trump are currently at 35%, up from 27% at this time last year, I don't have the data break down by gender. Edited October 5, 2018 by TakeYouToTasker

Buffalo_Gal Posted October 8, 2018 Posted October 8, 2018 From Kurt Schlichter. And it isn't just conservatives. As I said in another thread my husband registered to vote (first time ever) and will out at the polls November. There are a lot of "regular people" who are upset over the ****-show of the past month. Every man should get his butt out to vote against the "progressive" insanity in November. When you get a call from a fellow hardcore conservative and, his voice bristling with uncertainty and confusion, he confesses “I, I love the new Lindsey Graham,” you know something is up. Even McCain’s MiniMe, who has rarely passed up an opportunity to irritate us battlecons, can’t stomach this garbage slander from his garbage colleagues. The fact is that this whole disgusting Brett Kavanaugh grift has radicalized both Normals who usually avoid politics (thereby demonstrating their wisdom) and alleged conservatives who have been living in a fantasy world where our opponents were good faith friends who just disagree with us on some issues. The Cirque de Kavanaugh disgrace put an end to that comforting delusion. We'll Remember In November: This Kavanaugh Witch Hunt Is Radicalizing Us Normals 1

All he had to do was say something to the effect of, "I believe Dr. Ford, but I disagree with how the Senate Democrats handled her coming forward. If elected, I will not pull such shenanigans that delegitimize the trauma, courage, and strength of sexual abuse survivors who step up and publicly share what happened to them."
B-Man Posted October 9, 2018 Posted October 9, 2018 FAKE blue wave! Leaked audio of lib organizer telling bused-in activists to HIDE where they’re from is SO 2018 Dems Sorry Democrats, if you have to bus people in for protests in order to pretend you have momentum heading into the midterms that whole blue wave thing is probably NOT going to happen. We’ve known the Left has been doing this for years (Scott Walker protesters anyone?), but to hear it through leaked audio … it’s still honestly a little shocking. We especially like how the organizer thinks it’s somehow a good thing to lie to people about where you’re from when you’re protesting against a candidate you couldn’t vote for if you wanted to. 1
