Not a lie. Unless you're saying now you didn't write the above. That would be a neat way to spin it, Gator.

No, you are lying about what it says.

You realize there a political movement out there trying to get tighter gun laws led by people that were shot at?

I guess the parkland kids kids are happy too when they here about a school shooting?

You are at core a complete and disingenious liar, always have been and always will be.

Nothing you say should be taken as legit and this all goes to prove it.

You posted it in a conversation debunking the blue wave. You posted it with glee because to you, dead school children are nothing more than political points you can score. Just like dead American soldiers are amusing to you.

Call it a lie if it makes you feel better, but everyone can read for themselves the words you chose to wrote in the context you chose to write them.

You're the type of person who finds joy in dishonesty. Finds joy in the deaths of school children and men and women who dedicate their lives to protecting others. You might think that makes you "hilarious", but it just makes you sad in the eyes of most people.

A sad "man" who should feel shame for the things he said.

These tariffs are really having an impact on the races for House and senate.

The spat with Beijing has rattled the state’s juggernaut aerospace industry, as workers and business owners reckon with the possibility that their livelihood could be at risk. Boeing shares economic dominance with giants like Amazon and Microsoft, but trade still supports 40 percent of all jobs in Washington, according to a Seattle consulting firm.

“Trade issues are high on people’s minds,” said Chris Mefford, president of Community Attributes Inc., the firm that produced the estimate. “They are wondering and worrying how it’s going to play out.”

That anxiety is particularly acute in the Eighth Congressional District, a comma-shaped expanse that will hold one of the most closely watched midterm races in November as the Democrats battle to win back the House. Several political handicappers rate the race as a tossup.

China is projected to buy more than 7,000 planes worth around $1 trillion in the next 20 years, more than Boeing’s current backlog for the entire world. Most commercial aircraft in China are made by Boeing, the company says, but if the trade pressures escalate, China could choose to award more work to Europe’s Airbus.

For now, Beijing has threatened to retaliate with tariffs on some airplanes, including older 737 models made in the Renton factory where Mr. Cesmat works, which is just outside the district.

This is kind of funny, Trump is helping some Democrats stay in office with the tariffs! These tariffs must be a political scientist dream, studying all the ways they are playing out all over the country

President Donald Trump's recent spate of tariffs are popular among his working-class supporters in Ohio. But his aggressive trade moves could help put a key Senate seat out of reach for his fellow Republicans, undermining the GOP's fight to keep control of Congress in November.

Democratic Sen. Sherrod Brown is running for re-election partly by touting his support for the president's aggressive trade strategy and trumpeting his longtime opposition to the North American Free Trade Agreement and other trade deals Trump rails against. That's largely a boon in Ohio, where Trump won by 8 percentage points in 2016.

Poll of the week

A majority of registered voters in America (58 percent) think that President Trump is intelligent, according to a new Quinnipiac University poll.1 Sixty-two percent say he is a “strong person.” A whopping 72 percent support his decision to meet with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un. (A summit is scheduled for next week.) About half of American voters (49 percent) approve of Trump’s stewardship of the economy, and the same share says Trump is more responsible than former President Obama for the current state of the economy.

On the other hand, a majority of voters don’t think Trump cares about average Americans (55 percent), has good leadership skills (56 percent) or shares their values (61 percent). They don’t believe he is honest (59 percent), level-headed (64 percent) or a good role model for children (69 percent). They disapprove of his handling of foreign policy (52 percent) and immigration issues (58 percent).

Overall, 40 percent of Americans approve of Trump’s job performance in this survey, compared with 51 percent who disapprove — fairly similar to other polls of the president’s standing.

If Trump was not so lucky to have inherited such a great economy he would be much lower in approval. As it is, even with the great economy--not because of him--he is still pretty low.

If you think tariffs are going to keep Trump supporters at home this November you haven't been paying attention.

Nothing will convince the Trump cultists that dear leader is a fraud, so yes, you are correct.

There re are other people in the country you know.

What don't you all understand about Trump's tariffs? He doesn't really want tariffs on other nation's products. He wants other nations to reduce tariffs on our products. This is all just a negotiating ploy and no different than what he has done for decades.

They aren't.  His anti trade rhetoric helped Trump flip two time Obama voters to him.  Why would they not show for him in November?

Remember when a bunch of Hollywood celebrities got together and recorded an acapella version of “Fight Song” to introduce Hillary Clinton at the Democratic National Convention?

And the time when Katy Perry knocked on college dorm room doors to get out the vote?

Well, those efforts didn’t get Clinton elected, so thank goodness Martin Sheen and a bunch of Hollywood celebrities made a video encouraging “heroes” in the Electoral College to flip their votes. Oh, wait, that didn’t work either.

Well, it’s time to look ahead to the 2018 midterms and the 2020 election, and POLITICO reports that this time around, Democrats will be reaching out to Hollywood for help with messaging and getting out the vote.
