Interesting poll. Yes, Dems can still blow it. A terror attack could help Trump like it did for Bush in 2002 election. But looking at Trump's numbers he is still really underwater and that hasn't moved much at all, even down some. That's bad news for Republicans. The energy is on the side of Dems now and that probably won't change What can really hurt the GOP is if they back down on immigration or the second longest bull market in history finally runs out of steam. A month later, that lead is now down to 7.3 points and tightening quickly. Whether this is sustainable or not for Republicans, there is no denying the current trend. .
